Showdown Makes Me Want To Uninstall This Game

As a new player this year, showdown is HORRID. It's absolutely pre-determined sometimes. Awful draft, awful perks, and the opposing team makes hall of fame legendary plays to steal hits and home runs. I can tell if it's a win or loss within 3 batters.
Other times, I can tell when it's being fair and can get a win (or come close).
The only way to even have a chance, and this only in the NON pre-determined games, is to sit there and waste time while the CPU throws pitch after pitch a mile out of the zone. What a waste of time. I expect that in normal games but not this mode.
This legit makes me want to uninstall the game and I love the game. This is all random number generator in this mode.

Well its a good thing you're not being forced to play only Showdown for all eternity. There are other things to do that aren't as stressful.

Showdown is whatever to me, with that being said..... my pitcher trying to steal 3rd with a man on 3rd was fascinating to say the least.

If you truly love this game you shouldn't uninstall the game over a mode that you don't have to play. If you are having a difficult time getting the XP for the 2nd inning that's one thing but if it's because you just want to complete everything, put it out of your mind and just skip it.
Personally for me, I think it's the stupidest thing they have put into this game. Either that or moments. They basically play the same.
Do other things and forget that garbage mode

I don’t even bother with showdowns. It’s not worth the increase in my blood pressure.

Showdowns/moments sometimes I feel like the difficulty is a different version of rookie and veteran that I face throughout the rest of the game. I still clear them , sometimes with Repeats even but it doesn’t feel the same. I dominate conquest and play vs cpu all the way up to all star difficulty , but struggle in showdowns at times and also moments.

I did many times. It was pre-programmed, nothing was going to allow me to win that. I was good enough to win every challenge before that so I knew what I was doing, this was just pure evil.

Last year Showdowns were horrid until July, then I thought they got easier until the last two.
Didn't complete the 1st inning one and looking like that's how 2nd inning is going.
There's like 3 perks that really help, the rest are garbage. Players, meh. But the Gold Glove HOF defense out of everyone....eff that! Down 14-15 with 3 outs left against Smith. Hit one deep, and robbed! Then line out, pop out, and brick wall infielders.
I don't think it's scripted, but the sliders are completely jacked up against you. Don't bother calling it rookie or veteran when it's evident the pitching/defense is playing on a way better level.
Probably going to go away from Showdown for awhile and see what happens. And no amout of 'get gud' will fix it when it's not playing like it should. And are people still getting server errors when they are done? God forbid you actually pass it, get a server error, and have it not count.....

I know right? The game mode is very sad and pre-programmed in many ways. I beat all the challenges leading up to the final and have no problem hitting extremely well. It's rigged.

Funny thing about bunts...I was in a mid showdown against one of the TA bosses. Bunted four times in a row with a guy on first and four times right to the firstbaseman and a force at second.
THAT is scripted garbage. I did it just to see what happened.

Showdowns are definitely scripted to some extent, so is every other mode though. If you stay patient and be smart with your lineup and perks they’re really not that difficult. The computer does play insane defense though, I always take the “computer makes more errors” perk whenever I can, it helps.
