Why why does this have to be the comment for every single card that comes out.
Right now every card in the game with Buxton maybe being the exception will be a bench bat a month from now.
This mode is so much more then everyone's main squad. Will this card make an average to above average players main squad, of course not. This card is for the program for XP as well it will be needed for the All Star collection as well this card could be a beast in a future event. Also if there are mission for All Star cards he could be used for some team build line up.

I am not saying to lie and I am saying look for the positive for a card and avoid this talk of it just being a bench bat. Their are so many new players to this game that providing a more positive guidance on how these cards can be used is more helpful to the community then just railing off that it's a bench bat.

The positive is that he will hit right handed pitching hard off the bench. High power low contact is probably gonna be the hitting stats. Sometimes you need to tell the truth to spread knowledge about the game to new players.

Why on earth would it be an endgame card? The game turns a month old on Sunday. There is no need to comment "bench bat" when everyone and their mother knows that already. I see these comments all year round. If you don't want the card or it's not going to make you leave squad don't bother with it

This may be one of the saddest threads I've seen in awhile... You all are ridiculous. Getting triggered and literally offended over nothing lol. Who cares if he says Mcgriff is a bench bat... I'll go one further. I will probably never use the card.. Ever.. Its going to be trash. Simple as that.. NOT EVEN A BENCH BAT.. And a couple of you are the same ones i see post how much harder showdowns were last year every single time they're brought up like everyone didn't already know it or there aren't posts everytime a showdown is released.

Everyone knows this but it will or has been said 1000 times like it will change everything and SDS will go "good point, guess we only need 17 or so cards that are the best at each position and their is no dispute"
Now I wonder how that would turn out I can't think of a time when we only at 17 cards that where the best at their respective position and their was no debate....

Right now every card in the game with Buxton maybe being the exception will be a bench bat a month from now.
This mode is so much more then everyone's main squad. Will this card make an average to above average players main squad, of course not. This card is for the program for XP as well it will be needed for the All Star collection as well this card could be a beast in a future event. Also if there are mission for All Star cards he could be used for some team build line up.

Why on earth would it be an endgame card? The game turns a month old on Sunday. There is no need to comment "bench bat" when everyone and their mother knows that already. I see these comments all year round. If you don't want the card or it's not going to make you leave squad don't bother with it
Do new players know that it is a bench bat? Not saying I don't want the card just saying that it won't be my starting first basemen.
New players can figure it out themselves. New players are going to do the program anyway for the XP so it's their call if they want to use him or not. This isn't exclusively a comment made to help new players either. This comment is made every time content comes out and it's not a card like Griffey, Mays, or Bae Ruth 99
Did you just figure everything out on your own when you were new? Where you able to use every card and judge how well it plays in the game? Whats wrong with him saying it will be a bench bat? Is it that big of a deal to you? McGriff sucks.. One of the more overrated players of the 90s. He's a filler in this game. He isn't even a bench bat
When it comes to how cards play, yes. McGriff has always had a nice swing in this game. Any player program card will be filler, bench bat whatever you want to call it. True end game cards will only be in Ranked, BR, Team affinity late stages, and inning programs 5 and later. I don't mind the comment "bench bat" on its own. What it leads to it whining that Griffey, Babe, Pujols, Mays, Gehrig etc. and all the top pitchers weren't released instead. And when those guys do get released and there is no more cards that can top them the complaint is "why weren't these cards released in the first month". IMO it's not possible for every content drop to please everyone. If you don't want the card take your 35k XP and move on without a comment

Nobody expects Griffey, Babe, Pujols, Mays and Gehrig to be released in the first month. I like how they do there content cycle. Content gets better over time.
