CAP Stupidity

So, I want to make my CAP a 2B so I select “Sparkplug” since that’s the only archetype that allows me to be a primary 2B. Cool! So I finish the bronze program and take a look at the silver Sparkplug archetypes. NONE of them allow a 2B primary. Closest I can get is a SS so now I have to take a secondary penalty to play the position I want? This system is so completely stupid.

You can always switch to hitting only through the silver archetype. It will go fast and you won't have to deal with fielding issues.

That’s not the point. I want to use a CAP in my DD squad at 2B. WHY point me in the direction of having to use Sparkplug for a second basemen to only go “LOLNVM” after the bronze program is completed?

@Brocktarrr_PSN you have to pick the speedy sparkplug at silver and then rawhide at gold/diamond. Poof, a second baseman for DD.

You can still play him there as secondary and the secondary "penalty" is almost nothing, it'll be fine, calm down.

There’s a list going around that shows what each archetype leads to eventually. Yes, it should be in game. But it isn’t for some reason. I made my CAP a SS for now. Would like catcher, but only catcher archetype is bronze. And the secondary penalty makes him drop every pitch for some reason

Not with caps. Secondary with caps has actually acted as completely out of position with animations. This affects all positions but is most visible at Catcher or 1st base where your player will actually fail to catch pitches or throws to 1st a good portion of the time. But the bad animations do affect all positions.

It would be nice if SDS would clearly explain the CAP program. Also maybe show up all the archetypes and pathways for positions. Can you make this happen SDS?

If you play him as a secondary you get secondary penalty animations which causes a bunch of errors.
