Giving showdown a go, what a joke

Just started doing the 1st inning showdown for the 3rd time. I just completed the trip around the bases moment or 5th moment unsuccessfully. Its the one where you have to hit 3 homers before giving one up. I played an entire 9 inning game without hitting a home run on veteran. I did not bother to screen shot or video mainly because I don’t know how to upload anyway, but I couldn’t tell you how many times I squared it up that the ball should have gone out or at least been hit hard. The results just don’t make sense anymore. This moment is laughable, if you are still able to pass this post patch good for you, luck must be on your side, but this is just laughable now. I am at the point where if the hitting is not reverted back to what it was than I want my money back.

I beat the showdowns half the time. The problem is that the only runs seem to come from bombs now. Whatever they did to hitting totally took way doubles mainly so it’s hard to string out hits and so I just hope for bombs

Yup, you have to be in the right place at the right time with the right input. Like buying a winning lottery ticket the day before bankruptcy. Or falling down the steps and busting a hole through the wall and finding a cash stash you never knew was there. I just finished 1st inning last week, the al East showdown now has me wanting to burn my ps

In that one stack lefties and sit on the high fastball, and be Patient enough to not fall for the low off speed, it always seems to be a ground out even if you connect good
