With the ability to earn WS and BR cards via wins now, I think those cards will not have near the rarity or value at end of game as in the past.
I think they will because SDS will keep releasing new WS cards and Battle Royale cards. Nobody is going to be choosing the early rewards after a while they're going to want the new cards, the that's when the price scoops up to 1 Milly overnight on the older rewards. I'll be ready to flip.

Man I love the collecting aspect of the game but how aren’t you tempted to use that collection Online. Seems like the whole point.

Why do people always compare this game and cards to cars?
I only have 7 LS diamonds. I work the market and have every sellable cards, but for fun factor I'm not buying LS diamonds because I know they will be quick sale soon enough. I will scoop on Flash Sales.
When I finally get every LS card, I will go online. I have a story line based on Garrett Anderson.
Come on ...who does content around Garret Andereson... hahah.

Depends if SDS makes finest cards sellable again if they are acquired through TA. That's what caused that mess, not the Exclusivity of BR and WS cards. Without TA4 being sellable last year the only 2 cards close to a mil are chipper and Wagner IMO

I lost my real baseball cards when I was 12 , now I'm 40 years old and I just love the collecting aspect of the game the best. I don't know how to explain it haha.
I will go online this year with the cards for the 1st time around season 4 or 5. I can't wait - hope servers are better by then.

I'm with you. The win rewards for ranked and Br were specifically made to avoid the 1 mil waitlists. Especially toward the end. After they are done with content I wouldn't be all that surprised if they gave you a pack like every 25 wins or something

Still Investing ...maybe they won't reach 1 million again like last year, but didn't hurt to scoop up a duplicate WS and BR card at 40k - 75k for later down the road.
I bought Tino Martinez for 1 Million last year late in the cycle because I wanted every card. He was like 40k at one point, and then next thing I know I spent 1 million.
People do just like collecting like me.

I had every card in the game last year and almost 9 million stubs toward the end after complete. They are structuring the game very differently this year.

How did you work the market to get all the cards already?
I'm a collector 1st - Im ok with not even playing 1 game if I can get all the cards. This is my 3rd year, and I have been hitting the market heavy since early launch. Making 100k per day is a bad day for me.
(You can click on my profile) - I grinding playing conquest for Jackie. You can see that I have Prince, Lou, Vlad. All World Series and Battle Royale cards I have 2 of each to sell at 1 million later on.
I invest - I have 100 burnes, 100 rodons, anyone you can think of I have. I got Rodon at under 100 stubs early on.
The key to flipping is speed and be patient, if someone undercuts you don't worry about it. Scoop up everything at quick sale.
This year I will play ranked season maybe in season 4 or 5, never played ranked before. Trying to create a storyline around Garrett Anderson who went to my high school, content coming soon.
Cant wait to try Jackie 99 tonight.
Did you buy stubs to use to flip? Just asking because I can't fanthom how you have all those cards in just 3 weeks.

Ok Cool - But I wouldn't be surprised SDD threw us a Screwball on collection week. I'm going to grind 5 pitchers to Parallel V and go from there.
It's way, way quicker and easier to get hitters to parallel 5.
My 8 starters, 2 are level 5, the other six are all level 4 -

I got the pre-order 25k stubs for digital release. I started flipping at 9pm PT early release and stopped at like 3am. I was getting like 6k per flip that night. Within 2 hours I was like at 200k. By Saturday equipment prices were so low on Gold eqiuipment (almost quick sale). I bought in bulk and couldn't push it fast enough that weekend.
Luckily for me, on Launch day prices for gold equipment wasn't in the 100 stubs it was in the 10k stubs.
Didn't buy LS diamonds. Invested like 2 million or 3 million in silvers and bronzes. I cashed in week 1 and expect to cash in every week.
On Fridays when they do update at 12pm ,I'm buying 1000s of cards because people are mad their player didn't get an upgrade.
It's all about stacking for cheap, then just reselling.

The best flipping time is obviously during early access like oreorockstar mentioned.
I was making around 60k stubs an hour at peak times.By the end of early access I had bought Trout, Donaldson, Wander Franco, Soler, Cole, DeGrom, F. Hernandez, Familia, Chapman, Wagner, Betts and had Ruth and Rivera as the two free players.
I just like putting together a great team and then playing with them offline, doing conquests, vs. CPU and extra innings.
I'm sure there are thousands that made that much flipping cards -

It's easy to make a million stubs in a week working 1 or 2 hours a day flipping its not like it takes 40 hours a week. I like to get every single card, and have 5 million in the bank by the first 2 months and not stress out about trying to get a certain card later .... I don't want to be 400 to put a 1 million bid on Chipper like some last year, I want to be in the top 10 to get him and enjoy him right away. You gotta have the stubs to jump on this.
It's a ton of flipping 1st month, but after that it's just cruise control until '22.
I'm collecting all the cards (cars analogy) and yes keeping them in the garage for now....but still will take them out for at least 4-6 months later on. In no rush right now, just paralleling cards in conquest.
