No it's a post showing that I am not just a random frustrated noob. I know how to play the game and in my opinion the game has some mind numbing flaws.
Id love to see guys like you interact off the internet or before the internet.
Talking with some people and one of them voices displeasure with a topic and you make all the little comments you are making you would get punched. You wouldn't make all your annoying sideways comments in real life though.

Its not hard to understand man. If I didn't care to play this game or about this game and didn't want it be good I wouldn't be here venting about the gameplay.

I’m gonna get hate for this but that’s the problem with zone hitting. In the very beginning of the year when my team sucks I use directional. You do get few more HR but you don’t get nearly as many hits or contact especially out of the zone. Once my team was competitive enough I switched back to zone and am slapping everything a mile off the plate. Foul tips galore. Just have to be near the ball with the PCI and it will make contact

At least the OP isn’t claiming his opponent was using hacks. That should count for something.

Id love to see a dude perfect video of them making fun of foul tips and other weird mechanics of the show.
Or whoever makes those funny videos of 2K gameplay or whatever else it is.

This isn't real baseball and people should stop treating it like it is. If it was sinkers below the zone would be driven into the dirt while high sinkers would be batting practice.
I enjoy the game, but the way balls react is pretty far from real baseball, sds doesn't seem to want to fix it, so it is what it is. Enjoy it or don't.

Enjoy it or don't.Well said....I guess it seems to me like allowing swings and misses would be simple. I remember in 15, 16 and 17 the game didn't play like it does now with all the foul tips.
Id rather see people check swinging everything than saying F it and foul tipping everything.

It's the problem with zone hitting, as long as you can get your pci near the ball you can fouk it off. While the most accurate, zone is the cause of a lot of issues in the game.

I feel the frustration man. I just played a guy on HOF difficulty. He only took 5 pitches for balls and was just contact swinging. He had 15 hits, 11 on pitches out of the zone, 4 with good timing, 1 with exit velo over 100 mph. I only scored on 4 solo homers all over 100 exit velo. I hit 2 foul bombs in the 8th, one that said perfect and changed feedback after going foul by “1.8 feet outside of pole”. He beats me in the 11th after I line out 108mph with trout and he gets a jammed single and 91 mph homer. HOF has felt less competitive than any year I’ve played

That's OK. I just came off a 19 k game because I flat out couldn't see, react or recognize pitches. Particularly liked the lag delay when swinging. 2nd time I have been in the 800's and this happens a lot in the 800's. Haven't seen anything like this below 800. I practice on legend practice usually against Gossage and the stuff I see in the 800's is way faster. Game in the 700's was fun, 800 not so much. Same HOF setting though.
