I was able to knocked out the LS collection opening weekend and then i grinded for Jackie which I just finished.
-
This and the XP boosters really slowed the grind down. No reason to sprint to rewards when your still going to finish behind 20,000 people so it is a bit more enjoyable in a strange way. If I didn’t jackpot on Topps now cards then I’d be a bit more anxious about earning and selling all the rewards but I’m almost at Soriano so it’s just fun now.
Honestly maybe it’s just me but these choice packs are like as good as programs and what I look forward to the most this year.

It’s exactly why this game shouldn’t be putting out 99s to begin the year. Kills the game cycle. Now you have a team that probably won’t change much in the next 11 months.
It hasn't though. Chipper is an end game card, but the other two are borderline. I have completed the LS collection, but I am nowhere near a complete end game lineup and will probably be shuffling people in and out over the next 3 months. For instance I'm still starting Soto and Mike Trout, both LS cards.
There is also the mid season collection that I'm now working towards that features an end game card, in years past we have had Honus and Trout, this year im anticipating an absolutely juiced Clemente.
Trust me when I say OPs team and my own will change a lot over the next several months, I still feel Chipper is the only end game card in the game right now. Eventually we will get a better 1B, like a Bellinger or a stacked Konerko. We will eventually get better outfielders than Soriano (even though he plays 2B for me).

I enjoy flipping cards, I enjoy playing the different modes, I just love baseball, i am in no rush to do anything but get to the 650 by the end of the expiration date, Get to 40 wins in RS should be there already but have to win 2 more which I will do before the 17th. Earn packs and stubs, I have completed every CQ map. When I want to open a pack I will take in hour and work on TA innings while doing the Mystery Map over again to get a free show pack. For fun and to see if I could get a gold or diamond card I play the Tigers on legend last night and won 4-1. I was surprised how well I played. Vs CPU game you still get a end of game card. I got a 66 bronze and a ton of XP. Just enjoy the game and have fun. It is baseball.

Uh, Trout is the best card in the game.

I am a All star level player in RS and I find it easy to pitch to him. I consider my self a very good pitcher in this game. My hitting stops me from making HOF. My problem is I am not patient at the plate swing at to many pitches out of the zone.

Congrats on finishing it this early. This is tough because I started last season later so it was a bit easier to complete the LS collections plus you got XP. It was nice because then I was just banking stubs and playing the game with no pressure. Of course by the end of the game I had over a million stubs with nothing to really spend them on except putting in a buy order and waiting a couple of months. This year I started on time and I have the AL side done already and only 6 teams left in the NL. I would love to just finish them and be done but then the grind becomes less appealing. I'm going to attempt to take my time and make it last a little longer. As long as Im done by the time the next big collection comes along Ill be fine. I feel like I beat the game if at the end of the year I have completed every collection. Last year I didn't get prospects done and I was missing one pair of shoes otherwise I had everything done and it was satisfying for me.

I do love the Fishman. I hope we get his MVP card back.

I am 200k stubs away from completing LS. When I finish it I won’t feel any different. I love using different cards and have no problem switching out some guys I use. I don’t need to use Chipper for ever
-
I got lucky and pulled trout for the first time ever this year. I finished the AL collections. Have the Mets, Phillies, dodgers and braves to do still. Sucks because that’s around 500,000 stubs but I’ll get it done in probably a month

Never pulled Trout. Bought him this year for around 370k stubs. Wanted to use him finally and he is the best card in the game imo. I decided to try the collections but without pulls, flipping or 12 win runs, it is extremely difficult. I did the NL West and Braves so far. Still a LONG way to go. I don't see me being done before like September unless I get some serious help with a few good pulls.
I tried flipping and I don't know how people do it. Worse than doing conquest.

No. I've finished collection prior to first roster update for last three years and that in no way means I stop grinding for or wanting to improve my team. It only means I start off with a strong one. The goal is to always improve it.
-
You get 3-4 endgame cards. On a 26 man roster. It that big a deal.
