Bumgarner 14k moment

Any suggestions? The nationals don’t swing out of the strike zone and hit everything
Ps I guess Lester is Babe Ruth with the bat too
Seriously what is going on with Lester in this moment... had some like 15 pitch ABs against him where he was fouling everything off, and then getting a base hit to left.
This was easily the hardest moment of the game so far for me. During one attempt I purposely let the ball fall during a perfect game to get more chances to strike guys out. Also would intentionally walk runs in to tie the game and send it to extras to get more chances to strike guys out.
Almost gave up and did the exchange, but eventually beat it on about the 10th full-length try.

I just did the first set of moments, did the exchange then played with bumgarner online for 9 innings pitched, giants win and 8 IP with a starter pitcher for the 30 to finish it. His rookies not so bad if you play someone who cant hit i won 5-2 he barely gave up hits.
-
I got it done, but took me 8.2 innings to get there. I’m still not sure why it was with the silver version of Bumgarner instead of the Diamond card either.

Simple, skip it. I did the exchange and tomorrow i'll do the conquest complete game and 10ks. He should be a fun card to use though.
Lol, dont do conquest. Play vs CPU. You can get the K's and complete game at the same time.
Fair enough i've been going through the main conquest for Afinity points but your right probably best to just play one game.
Plus I think the complete game mission needs to be minimum 8ip so conquest wouldn't count for the complete game
No i've looked conquest does indeed count (ranked seasons/battle royal/play vs cpu/ extra innings or conquest) but I agree why not knock out both at the same time
Oh cool I already did mine, but that is certainly good to know conquest does count for it
-
I had 13 strikeouts in 8 innings but gave up 1 run, my team scored no runs so I didn't even get a chance to pitch in the 9th. I gave up on this moment.
-
I got it done on the first try but it definitely wasn't without stress
I'm not in a rush to get his 88 so I'll wait for a 2nd inning player program and pitch him for the Ks and 8ip complete game. If I get a giants innings pitched daily mission then maybe I'll just do a cpu game then instead.

14Ks in 7 and a third. Be careful to pitch too much in the zone. Once the CPU gets a strike on them they are more apt to chase especially with low offspeed. Fastball up and in followed by offspeed low and in to righties and low and away to lefties worked pretty well mixing in the occasional up and in fastball for strike 3.

Beat it on my first try, like all pitching challenges it is incredibly easy if you know how to game the pitching.
CB: Down and in to righties, down and away to lefties.
Very interesting. This explains why if I throw a curve ball to the AI down down down in the dirt or down way way down inside to lefties they are crushing homers and righties the same, I have just stopped throwing curve balls to the AI because they destroy them, anything down in the dirt middle is gone and just like lefty if I throw it to the outside and way down to righties it's a bomb.
Just saying F you AI I threw some curveballs way high so they just dipped into the top and the AI could not hit those. It's a suicide pitch though and just figured the AI would murder it eventually.
I "love" how the AI sometimes has eyes, meaning you can burn two speed pitches up and in and then throw something slow or bendy away and they are swing and miss but then of course you get Freddy Galvis or someone like him where you can throw the ball anywhere at any speed and he will foul it off until you drop dead.
-
One of those moments that are just tedious at best and really not worth it. In my one attempt I had 7 Ks through 7 innings, almost entirely because of very weak contact on 2 strike counts that did nothing more than prevent strikeouts.
Did the exchange immediately upon exiting the moment.

They don’t swing out of zone in my 5 tries so did exchange
