Constant Freeze then Crash after 1.05 Update

This and stats are not progressing..I've been at 32 PA's for 10 games now lol

I know this isn’t what anyone wants to hear including me but I started a new RTTS and it appears to be working. I’ve played two series in AA as a Left Fielder in the Athletics organization and no crashes with everything progressing.
Only issue I see is the graphic screw ups in the dugout and on the 1st base coach.
This is the 2nd time I’ve started a new RTTS due to an update and this will get old pretty quick if every update is going to break your current saves.

I'm going to delete and restart both RTTS and franchise.

I've personally had no issues with gear working in-game; the games I've played this morning it has worked in the manner in which @SGMRock_XBL describes above. I've created all new profiles (aka loadouts) this morning - one for each type of archetype I'm working on so 5 total. Been switching between them, no issues. I made sure to put slightly different gear on each profile just to make sure that works as well - seems to be working good.
Have not had any issues with the game crashing either. Only thing I have noticed has been that at the end of each game, when the camera focuses on the manager it has a sort of washed-out "albino" look. But other than that graphic glitch (which I'm about to report to support) no major issues with 1.05.
I wonder if the game current state is finally ready for trying a two way player now.

I am on Xbox (Series X) and I’m having the same crash issue. I can get through the first game just fine, but I’ve tried on 3 different occasions to advance to the next game and it freezes/crashes. Super frustrating to have to play the same one game over and over with no way to advance

Try to sim that game and see if next one works.

So far, so good here on Xbox One.
About 30 games since patch with my catcher file.
Still get stutter balls but that's normal. No crashes so far though.
Just to add, this file has been going since 1.03

I'm over 80 hours into an RTTS player. So I'd rather they fixed it.
Also re-starting - What might happen is we re-start - only to get the error at some point 50 hours down the line?
This does need a fix. -

This does need a fix.Well you can restart and play a new RTTS until the next update comes out and breaks that one too. I agree it does need to be fixed but I wouldn’t expect it anytime soon

Nope Xbox Series X here and game freezes and then turns off my console. So not just PS users. i've read about delete your profile for the game but what does that do?

42 on mine as well.
Downloaded something though, it was about 4.7gb

That's an option. My real issue I suppose is confidence
I don't have confidence in the game at the moment.
It might work. It might not. I've had items disappear, advancement not being registered and now this.
I love the game, but sitting and playing with "This is going to break in a minute" always at the back of my mind lowers my enjoyment too much to want to play
While I love playing the game. Replaying the game to reach the point I was at before (again) - When I've restarted due to various bugs several times already... is starting to feel more of a chore than a game.For the time being I've fired up OOTP on my PC and really enjoying that.

well made it through a whole RTTS game but on second game up for first bat game Freezes again. Dam this really sucks.

Weird. I have had zero issues until just now. I had played 15 plus games. Just now game crashed to Home Screen after game when in the attributes increase screen. I pressed A to advance and screen went black for 5 seconds or so then back at Home Screen.
Went back in game and that game wasn’t counted. Going to play again and see if it crashes again. Sucks as I hit a HR and Triple on Chris Sale in my second MLB game after call up.

i started a new RTTS and so far so good, but sucks cause i was half way in my other RTTS, while in MLB.
Update My coach had a white face. Like stright up the color white.

It just crashed again on me. It’s totally random. At this point I’m going back to the clubhouse after every game to make sure it saves so I don’t have to replay whole series.
