How to buy cards on the market.
-
Instead of over cutting the highest bid by one or a few stubs, under cut the highest bid or bids. For example, you have a card with 3 bids around 95k, then one at 93k, then a whole bunch at 91k. Bid above the highest 91k bidder. Let the top bidders get theirs first. Most of the time you will get your order filled and at a better price.
This is my strategy. anybody else do this? I just don't get the people that overcut the highest bidder. it's dumb. you can't be in that much of a rush to get a card.

I believe you mean to say under cut? Under means below, over means above. Or, do I not understand your post? Then again "the a whole bunch" isn't easy to decipher either. Who knows man. Buy stuff, use the stuff, sell the stuff, do other stuff.

Overcut I mean bidding above the highest bidder, under cut I mean below.
Or does undercut mean going above the bidder?

I don't know man. I thought I was following you until you said "let the top bidders get theirs first", top means highest, not lowest. Then you followed up with "I just don't get the people that overcut the highest bidder", over cut means above the highest?
Bad night, you'll get 'em tomorrow champ!

I think my post is pretty clear. Yes, let the top bidders get their order filled. Don't try to bid above them. you can bid under them and still get the card.

And you can use the same method by selling a card.

The one I’m seeing a ton this year, probably because there’s a lot of new players, are loads of items listed at quick sell price. For example, gold uniforms, there’s a few with like 15-20 listed at 500 stubs. Are that many people shorting themselves and not understanding tax? If you quicksell, you’d get 500 stubs, by listing for 500, you now only get 450. It’s just a head scratcher for me.

I saw that too. It's not because of new people, it's been happening for years.
