Do y'all suggest going for collections already for a no money spent player who plays about 1-2 hours a day? If so, how do you best suggest getting the players and just any other community market tips. Thanks! Also I have the Phillies collection done already because I pulled Realmuto and Nola was cheap.
If you’re no money spent then the earlier you go for collections the better.. your approach should be to go for the highest stubs count first. So your #1 goal should be to buy Mike Trout first then whoever’s highest price next, regardless of team. Hope this makes sense

@cosmic_wonders It does. Thanks! I just feel like that will take a long time and he'll be cheaper in 3 months.

@Duke0021520_XBL i grinded some showdowns to get a lot of TA progress. How I just work the flashbacks from each division into my lineup and play conquest games. I currently have 320,000 stubs and a ton of that is from card flipping so once you figure out how to do that effectively, the stub count will skyrocket. Watch YouTube, the guys on there have good flipping tips. I like to put in a decent amount of orders, grind some content and check back to see where I’m at with my buy/sell orders. I just constantly do this plus all the extras you get from content grinding

It’s actually more efficient! I took this approach last year (my 1st year playing DD) and completed live series collections rather quickly, without spending more than the $60 game actually cost. You’re more likely to pull every other card in packs other than the top 10 diamonds. I already got about 100K in stubs without playing that much and I have an all Diamond squad mainly from the Buxton collection. Give it a try!

@dutchoven53_XBL I'm pretty bad at showdown. I did the starter but wasn't able to do the 1st inning one in 4 tries. Haven't done TA yet so maybe I'll do better in that. Which division(s) should I do first?
-
@cosmic_wonders Alright I will. Thanks! Hope you do amazing in the game this year!
-
Depends on what you do with that 1 to 2 hours of time. Events can net you some nice cards to use or to sell. To me the sets is what makes this game so addicting, just remember it's hard to get everything. I had to pass on Buxton because I wanted to use that coin for the AL live series.

@mubby_33_PSN Lots of moments is what I normally do. What should I do?
-
@Duke0021520_XBL I'm an Indians fan, so I did the AL central TA first. I wanted the franmil card cause I’m a homer haha. The Salvy Perez and Tim Anderson are nice as well. I transitioned to working the AL East next because I hit decently with the Bichette and Bogaerts. Ultimately, every game I play has some sort of progress toward a TA and whatever other content is active at that time.

@MLBTS_MLBTS It will. Do you know about how long? I know the Yankees, Dodgers, and Angels will be the hardest ones.
Don't forget about the Braves. Acuna is pretty expensive.

@dcmo3_PSN True, but he's there only diamond, right? And Mets I suppose because of DeGrom.

@Scott_LaRock101 I'll try my best but that Nation of Baseball conquest looks hard, also all the Team Affinity ones.
The USA map is super easy. I've been working it for the 6500 stubs, six golds, ten pack bundle, and pxp.

Nope. You got Freeman.

@samguenther1987 Thanks! Any advice for working the market?
Hey if you want, message me on Xbox. I would be happy to help. If you feel comfortable, maybe we could even jump in a party and I'll walk you through a few ways to make stubs in the market, conquest and whatever else you need help with. Best of luck

Message me on here and I'll give you some tips on Conquest and flipping.

Definitely recommend doing all of the T/A if you can. Lots of free packs can be had from there ( believe it’s like 90 t/a packs) plus all of the others you get. Showdown is a lot easier than it was last year imo so that’s the easiest way I’ve found to get T/A done. And as others have said conquest due to all of the hidden packs and stuff from there. Some of it is your pack luck but the rest is just time.

The best tip I can give for working the market is find a player or three that gives you good return on the investment and don't blab it all over the forum or YouTube.
The Brewers were great for this in 17 (IIRC). I made loads of stubs off that collection. -
@dcmo3_PSN How long did it take? Also any suggestions?
