42 series packs issue...

@Collin_SDS_PSN people are accidentally choosing duplicates out of the 42 series packs. Seems there is an issue where every card in a pack shows as "new" sometimes. So thats how some are selecting dupes.. Not sure why its even possible to choose a duplicate since the cards are non-sellable and they can't be exchanged. I currently have 2 Max Muncy and 2 Anthony Santander. I want to complete the 99 Jackie collection and can't. I know its my fault to open packs and select duplicates but it has happened to a bunch of people. Yes I submitted a ticket on the site. No I haven't heard back from sds. I think this can be patched otherwise it will happen all year to people. I am willing to drop over 200k on the market 42 series cards for the collection. Please let me lol......

yes, it'll say 1x in the top left corner of the card if you already picked it.

Yes it does. Apparently some folks either aren’t having it show up or just aren’t paying attention.

I had 2 cards show up as "new" one of them was already owned, so yeah I have a DUP cutch, though I'm not worried about Jackie. It's not always people being stupid, the servers were mad messed up for a while. Hell, I had packs open and the server crashed and took my open pack with it.

There is an issue with it. All of my cards said "new." I did not remember which ones I already had. There is some sort of glitch where it doesn't show the "1x" in the corner meaning you own it. Not everybody is stupid and ignorant like you think. This is a known glitch and it needs to be fixed. Stop blaming everybody when you don't know what you were talking about. It's pure ignorance on your part.

This is correct. Too bad some people are too ignorant to see both sides and just assume other are stupid or careless.

Not always. Sometimes it says "new" for all cards and if you don't remember exactly which cards you own it will give you a duplicate if you select it.

How about you look at which cards you own before you go into the screen? Pretty easy for me.

If you learn to read you can see the multiple comments stating that sometimes all cards show up as "new" in the pack even when owning them. Thats how people select duplicates.

I bet one issue is the fact that they list the cards in a specific order when you preview the pack. So if you look at the cards then, and get familiar with their order, maybe while checking stats and deciding who to pick....then open the pack--
Well -- they are in a completely different order.
So if you instinctually go to the spot the card you decided to take WAS in.....especially if its the spot you start on.....I could see people hitting the button before thinking.
I noticed this, but since im obsessive about everything, i quadruple check everything before being locked into a card....but anyone who isnt, could pick the wrong card....and it be a duplicate.
Just something i noticed.

Did you by chance open them via the website? Thats where I had an issue now that i remember, I had to open a new page and see which one I didn't have via the inventory screen.
