They did acknowledge this bug saying it will be fixed in upcoming updates but no timetable.

Why must everything be a slap in the face? The equipment should work eventually and you need to realize that they were not actually obligated to give you anything.

Maybe you don't understand how business works so I'll explain it.
SDS is the supplier. We are the consumers. We are what pay their bills and fed their family. "The equipment should work eventually" is not acceptable. It should work from the start. We paid for a product, in return we want a working product. They are 100% obligated to provide that or offer a full refund. Which of course we all know isn't going to happen.

I'm sorry, but I very much disagree with you here. They are obligated to deliver a game that works as designed. Is gear described to be for both DD mode and RTTS mode? Yes it is. Does gear work exactly like it should in DD mode? Yes it does. Then why, for the love of Pete, does it not work in RTTS mode?
But SDS is obligated to deliver a game that works as designed.
Now, maybe you don't like the design. For instance, the change to the new Archetype model as compared to previous progression models. Or, as another example, how the Universal Player concept impacts the replayability of RTTS mode. SDS is not obligated to make changes to those aspects - that's the direction the game designers have chosen to take the title in. Hopefully they will listen to their customer base and do a "check and adjust" on this for future versions.
But delivering the 2021 version as designed and working correctly - yes, SDS is obligated to do that. And considering the game has been live for nearly 3 weeks, it's well past time RTTS gear was working.

Of course they are obligated to provide a working game. That is a given and I did not think I needed to spell that out.
This topic is about the bonus items they gave us as a compensation for the issues of the first three weeks. They were not obligated to give us anything as compensation. It was a good and smart move on their part that they did as it softened the mood of some of the angry players. But there was no obligation for them to do so.

How can you expect to Appease the public with items that they know are not working properly? The issue is the disconnect between the consumer and the studio , that's all I was trying to say
