"Challenge Failed" error in online Diamond Dynasty game modes

I have been unable to play any of the online game modes (ranked seasons, battle royale, events, casual) on Diamond Dynasty since release. The other game modes like conquest seem to work fine however.
Every time I search for an opponent it comes up "opponent found" and then around 5 seconds later I get the "challenge failed" notification. I've tried numerous fixes, forwarding ports, enabling DMZ on my router, reinstalling the game itself, rebuilding the database and clearing the cache on my PS4, but nothing to seems to work. I went back on The Show 20 and tried an online game and it worked perfectly, so I'm leaning towards that it's an SDS issue and not an issue on my end, but I don't know.
I don't know whether it's because I am in the UK and a million miles away from the SDS servers as I know they are not the best of servers right now, so I'm not sure whether it'll just fix itself with time. Is anyone else in Europe having this issue? The annoying thing is I am unable to complete any of the other online challenges that require ranked seasons, events, and BR to earn XP and rewards.
Looks to be an excellent game this year, just annoying that a big part of the game is not working as it should.

Yes, first thing I double checked. Can play any other game just fine online, including MLB The Show 20.

I have the same problem I haven't been able to play a single online game in 10 days now.

I have the same issue. Never played an online game since release. Any ideas on how to fix this? Because SDS won’t reply to any emails about it
