Most of the time I've tried to do it, I press L2 like it says but nothing happens. It occasionally works and my opponents sometimes do it so I know it works but I'm not sure why it doesn't always work. I never had any trouble doing it last year either

I've noticed it doesn't work on cross play games, only if your opponent is on the same gaming system

Yeah every once in a while you get that opponent who makes you watch there homeruns is the only time I use it hahah
