Unable to put reliever in game after current reliever faces his batter
-
So I’m noticing that I’m not able to have a reliever face a batter and then bring in another reliever to pitch to the nest batter in conquest or play vs cpu games. After facing a batter, I try to bring in my next warmed-up reliever to face the next batter but the only option is to sit the reliever in the bullpen down. If I visit the mound and then go to the bullpen, I can only choose Ready and Waiting or Sit down. I can’t bring him into the game. Anybody else having this problem?

Pitcher has to face 3 batters.

Pitcher has to face 3 batters.
Or finish the inning.

In 3 inning games? That would be a change this year to go against baseball’s rules. I maybe understand it for online DD games, but that doesn’t make any sense in these other game modes.

It was the same last year too for conquest games. I primarily play conquest and a pitcher has to pitch to three batters or finish the inning.

It wouldn't be a change to go against baseball's rules. The 3 batter or end of the inning rule is a rule for any game no matter the length.

^^ is a new rule since last year - 3 batters or offense is put out.

The 3-batter minimum was in The Show 20 as well, also on Conquest.

Yep, nothing new from last year.

3 batters, 1 inning or X amount of pitches. Baseball will do anything to keep a clock from changing the game of baseball, including changing the game.
