Can you not replay Homeruns?

I'm currently playing a game against a guy who continuously squares a bunt nonstop before I throw the ball and I just hit a 487 foot moonshot with yelich. I was pressing L2, but it didn't replay it, and this isn't the first time this has happened for me. Anyone else having this problem?

i can replay like 1 out of every 20. doesnt matter if I tap it, hold it, nothing works...then all of the sudden it does once.

Dam..... They need to fix it, nothing is better than replaying a homerun while your opponent is being toxic

What, really? I've yet to play a ranked game but I think I've been able to replay a couple in events when my opponent was being a tool.

You can replay your homeruns, but the opponent can cancel the cutscene by pressing x

Is he showing bunt then going back to a normal stance or is he bunting every at bat?

You can replay your homeruns, but the opponent can cancel the cutscene by pressing x
that's sort of dumb. It defeats the purpose because the opponent will always skip it.

He was spamming triangle before every pitch.

Then take your time to pitch. Not saying that you were quick pitching; but if you take longer to pick he'll stop playing like an idiot.

Lame. Some players deserve to have to rewatch an opponent's home run.

Then take your time to pitch. Not saying that you were quick pitching; but if you take longer to pick he'll stop playing like an idiot.
Nah, it didn't matter how long I took to pitch, he still spammed.
