What's a good Batting Average this year?

New to The Show so im wondering what's considered a "good" BA based on the game? I know it's much higher than IRL. Anything above .350?

.350 I’m retiring as a Legend. I’m ok at this game currently 37-22 in RS and batting around .250(which makes me feel like the Hulk so back TF off ). 350 he says

Depends on what your home ball park is. Playing somewhere like Shippett or Laughing Mountain can inflate your batting average as opposed to playing at a random MLB park.
Winning is all that matters in the end

Anything over .600 real good. Anything .500-.599 solid. Anything .400-.499 practice. Anything sub .400 see an optometrist.
This is sarcasm by the way. I’m hitting .335 through 27 games and I consider myself average.

At HoF, anything above .300.
-
I’m killing the ball if I’m hitting over .300. I’m it a great hitter so I need to have good defense and out pitch my opponent

I am a very good pitcher but very average at hitting. the last couple of years I have been in the .220-230 range and I win alot of low scoring games. If I get someone on base I am stealing and getting into scoring position right away. If I get up 2 runs I will rarely lose

It depends on which level of difficulty you play your games. In the All-Star regions I'd say around .400 to .450 is good. In HOF around .320 to .350 would be nice. And on Legend you should be content if you're able to bat an average of around .280 to .310

I’m glad you posted this. Made me look it up on my phone and see where I’m at this year.
I’m 20-6 in ranked seasons, hitting .285 with a 0.89 era and it says 92 hours played on DD.I’m so spotty when it comes to hitting. There’s games where I score a bunch then some games I can’t hit water if I fell out of a boat. There’s a couple pitchers this year that I really struggle with. Been practicing against them more tho trying to improve.

I don't know if there's really a cutoff point of "good" vs. "bad." There are people at the upper levels who are practically impossible to get out. For me, if I'm hitting .300, I would consider that pretty good, like IRL. But I'm also not great at this game in general so the bar is low.

good? depends on your ranking.. If you hit above 350 on legend then you probably win most of your games. If you play on allstar then you are probably about average.

Yeah i was genuinely just curious because im new so i don't know the avgs from years past. I was just assuming that since it's a game that the avgs would be higher than IRL.
I'd say anything over .250 is good and anything over .300 is great personally
