Ok did you reassign equipment and activate after downloading latest patch?
Iām pretty sure I have tried creating an all new profile, putting all the gear back on and deleting the old one a few times.

just trying to help you narrow down possibilitiesMade new profile. Deleted old profile. Put on archetype and perks. Put on only I piece of equipment, Legendary Call. Went in RTTS game. See +8 above contact and power if I check player card in pause menu in game. Go to bat, take a swing. My contact is 82 with archetype and perks., should be 90 with Legendary Call equipped. Nope still 82, still broken, still nothing from SDS on this. Still very annoyed.
If it says 82 and u r seeing +8 above it is working. It doesn't change actual attribute b/c it's not a permanant item.
If that were true, it wouldn't sometimes randomly put the boosted values on the contact, power, speed when looking at the attributes while on base or after a swing. When my RttS player gets the boosts applied I can steal second with ease. Without the boosts I get thrown out every single time.
To add on to this, when my boosts are applied the opposing pitchers will treat me like a base stealer. Pitch outs, slide steps, pick offs. When I have no boosts they just ignore me.
Well yeah you added speed to attributes essentially a diffferent than without them
I'm not sure you understand the issues then. What we are saying as we have all our gear boosts showing on our player, but then in game those boosts aren't actually applying.
You just said they were. You said if i add boosts i can steal 2nd with ease, without boost you get thrown out. What am i missing in explanation?
When the boosts actually show up in game I can steal bases and get treated like a threat on the bases. When the gear isn't working properly and not adding my boosts to my player I can't steal anything and the opposing pitchers just ignore me. My boosts from my gear are on all the time. The game just only registers them maybe once a series. Usually not at all.
Only RTTS or DD as well?
Only RTTS. In DD the boosts apply perfectly. It's the other way I know the attribute boosts are broken within RTTS. I have 80+ speed in DD and in the 60s in RTTS.
Ok. Do you have anyway of knowing if perks and architypes are from DD reward tree or RTTS reward tree? Prolly not just curious if you remember where they came from?
Not sure. Probably a mix of both honestly. I've been using DD and RTTS to progress my archetype programs.
The perks and archetype are giving my boosts to my attributes like they should both in DD and RTTS. It's the equipment that isn't applying in RTTS. Sometimes after the first game of a series it will work for the rest of the series, but usually for me the equipment boosts never show up in RTTS. -
Are you simulating any of your games? Or are you playing every at bat and fielding oppurtunity?

My gear boosts never work in game 1 of any RTTS series but do work in games 2 and 3. I agree with some here, the only way to tell is in game while or right after batting and you see the contact/power/vision stat in the little box pop up next to your batter. The "+8" or whatever number will always show up in the attributes menu, but it has nothing to do with if it's actually counting or not. Also when I pause during a game and go to my player the perks will be different game 1. Also you can obviously tell by the PCI size difference and lack of pop batting game 1.
At this point I've accepted that as best I'll do til SDS actually fixes it. But feel free to try, this Grizz guy seems pretty sure of himself. I've also tried resetting loadouts and actually only ever used 1 soo.. -

Right. Not to mention you can definitely tell the attributes are not working. My gear speed attribute boost as I mentioned above in this thread is +18. When I go from RTTS games to DD games Iām very noticeably faster. So itās easy to tell Iām not really getting +18 speed in RTTS. I think their design was to maybe show how much boost your gear gives with that +## above the attribute, but it should also add that number into the attribute like it does in DD. If the OP is just assuming gear is working because he is seeing that +## then I think that is weāre the disconnect is.

But i went in game with various scenarios and all the issues i read, i tried them and i had no game breaking problems and had 100% success. So if we can please keep it constructive and 1 question at a time with brief description i will refer to my screenshots and explain best i can. And maybe we can help some people and also maybe narrow down some issues people might still be having? Thank you.

I did find for me on Xbox that the custom gear settings always reset when I go into My Ballplayer profiles, like to check archetype progress and stuff. If I stay out of that area they donāt reset. That has been my experience. Very annoying but at least I know the cause on Xbox. The equipment attributes not working in RTTS I canāt find any work around for though I have tried for days.

The only thing I have seen is that when batting, if you swing at a ball, a brief window appears which shows your timing relative to the pitch. On that graphic is a small bar above the graphic which shows your effective CON and PWR against that pitcher. You can then view your Player Card (pause, triangle, R2) and see if that CON and PWR is either the "base" value or the "base + '+'" value. If the former, you are not getting equipment bonus. If the latter, you are a lucky guy and you are.
The reason I used the Speed/Stealing numbers in my question to Grizz is because it's easier to get to in-game. You don't have to rely on a brief graphical display.

Have you found a way to use your ballplayer at a position that isn't listed at the primary on your archetype in DD? Every time I put a player at a spot that is listed as his secondary they play like an out of position player in game making errors or if at catcher unable to even catch a pitch. In the squad screen it shows "secondary position" but that's not how they perform in game.

I started this thread at around 8 pm and was up until 2 am of my personal time to help figure out why people were having issues. I guess that makes me the worst poster on the forums for trying to help but someone can call another person a liar, a shill, and an apologist all in same sentence and that makes them poster of the year. That's fine but i'm not saying anymore to prevent being banned.
I wish you guys all the luck in figuring out your issue, all i can recommend at this point is keep putting in tickets to support until it's resolved.

You're 100% wrong bc when you're in DD and you take a swing its shows your boosted attribute in the feedback window.
On RTTS it was working for the first couple of days and now it hasn't worked in weeks. You have no clue what you're talking about.

Good Luck!The guy who posted this about you is right. In the first few days of the game you were the same guy trying to shame everyone for saying that program progress was working for you and it must be that everyone else was doing something wrong. Now you're doing the same on this thread.
Equipment is NOT working for you in RTTS just like it's not working for anyone else. Stop trying to pretend like it is to make yourself seem better than us or whatever it is you think you're accomplishing. You're not helping the community by doing this, you're hurting it.

Yeah I think they broke RTTS equipment in first patch during early release, the same one that broke the archetype program progression. They fixed that progression issue but not the equipment attributes problem unfortunately.
