LS Collection

Ok, so I worked my way up to Collect 20 of every team. My next step is the Collect 30. However, here is my question:
I got all these players by flipping. I have enough in stubs to finish the 30 per team, along with collecting all the players for some of the lower cost teams (While I need 20 more players to complete the Orioles; it wikl only cost me 400 in stubs and I'll get back 900 once completed.
Now, I need 19 more Gold players, and ALL the LS Diamonds, but the team's where I only need a Gold or two, a few Silvers, and the rest of the Bronze/Commons will probably only cost me no more than 3K., if that. I have that much and more to spare.
However, I haven't completed/started ANY of the Conquest Maps and have only done a handful of Moments; so I still have all those free packs coming.
So my question is: Do I just buy everyone that I need, minus the LS Diamonds, BEFORE I go after the loot in Conquest (and just QS the eventual duplicates)? Or do I play Conquest and buy anything that I dont get grinding?
Either way, it should cost the same. Just waiting will naturally take longer.

Do the conquest and save stubs getting all the lower OVR players.

Depends on your goal. Are your looking to complete a LS or Honus collection? Are you looking to field a competitive team as soon as possible and have fun with online pay? Are you knocking out missions to acquire players through the XP path?
If you're just looking to build and play look to eat up innings for specific teams for the Affinity programs while playing your Conquest games. Affinity players which will have longevity on your bench after you've acquired superior starters may include, MIL Rollie Fingers, TB Ben Zobrist, NYM Jose Reyes, and LAD Don Sutton. Target specific Moment rewards which will be useful role players...Wainwright, Wade Davis, Kendall, etc. From what I see of newer accounts playing against me, it looks like it is cheaper and faster to build around Finest player cards for most positions and find value in SS pitchers.

My plan, after I get my 20 Event Wins is to hit the Moments that give out nice loot. IE: WC for the Finest Packs, finishing up the SS Sony Partner Moments, the Post Season ones, the AS Game, and the Griffey Storyline. (I know I can eventually get SS Griffey, making the AS obsolete; but I can use the 40 pts for that inning, plus I want to use him as part of my AS/PS/Finest Conquest squad to hammer out those stars).
After I get this packs/cards from those Moments, then I'll start the 'loot heavy' Conquest maps; starting with the Shark Map.
By that time, whatever low end LS cards I need, I'll buy. Then work on the LS Diamonds.

Sounds like you have this pretty well thought out. Keep in mind though that certain Inning Programs have different levels of rewards and number of stars accessible through moments. For example, every Moments game from the Signature Series Moments awards 8 stars towards the 6th Inning Program...meaning you can build your team while earning 6th inning stars and 11th inning stars (for the gameplay). 4th and 5th Innings are a little bit leaner.

Yeah. I think I figured it out the other day that I can get to 300, for each inning, from the 6th Inning Program and up. If I want any of the bosses from the 1st-5th Inning Programs, I'll either have to buy them or get the voucher.
The only ones that I may want are Alomar and Wagner. Hoping they drop, esp Wagner, significantly once the stub sale is over.
