I am a lawyer, albeit in Australia, and there could be a case for a civil suit under certain consumer protection statues in USA Civil Court. Next time, don't comment on something you know little about.

what CdprojektRed did with Cyberpunk is way more dishonest and they genuinely false advertised. CDPR literally flat out lied to their consumers and hid their games performance on old gen. They admitted that they weren't truthful and the two lawsuits that they are facing probably aren't going to net much. Point im making here is even if somehow a class action suit against SDS comes together somehow, its probably unlikely that anything substantial would come from it.

It's actually not theft because you have received a product in return for money. That product may not function in certain areas but it does in others (offline). You may not be happy with it or expected different, but that's life. The servers will be fixed eventually anyways..
This is no different than spending $80 at a restaurant, and getting a meal you are not happy with. You don't get your money back and they certainly aren't breaking any laws because you received something back.If you don't want to wait on them fixing the game, then move on. End of story.
I've actually played a ton of this game (DD, conquest, some online, etc) and despite not being able to play it to its full potential, I've already gotten a ton out of it.
It's actually a great game when it's working.
However the restaurant, usually as a good customer service gesture, will comp you a future free meal or remake it. SDS has done nothing.
