Year 2 of Shogo Akiyama not being in the game. What's up? Granted he is currently injured, I don't see why a starting player is still being excluded.

Is he in the MLBPA? Has he submitted his likeness consent form to be placed in the game? SDS can't just put anyone in the game, even if they are an MLB player.

I have no idea but it's his 2nd year in the league and he did do the face scan for The Show in 2020 spring training, so I find it hard to believe he doesn't already have those boxes checked.
