Same here. No disconnects.
In a way I wish I had been disconnected though. Then I wouldn't have wasted an afternoon treading water.
Moving my overall skill meter up about 0.4 of a level in 100 games played. Not earning enough XP to advance 1 whole level (despite this still being double XP time)
Earning 1 piece of wearable equipment - inferior to what I already had (plus a load of player cards, stadiums and outfits for game modes I don't actually play)Will the devs answer two simple questions;
Why when I go to DD from RTTS am I suddenly a 2B? It says I'm playing out of position at CF. My player is a CF, has always been a CF in '21. I play RTTS at CF and only CF - yet when I go to DD - I'm a 2B. I haven't created a 2B player since The Show 2017.
Do I need to start again? Is this lack of progress and player type mis-match happening because whatever bugs there were are locked into my character now? Is it picking up saves from previous versions (I have 15,16,17,19,20 and 21 all installed on my PS4 Pro at the moment - all with saves)

So there’s still the issue of losing archetype progress when your servers disconnect. There needs to be some kind of either offline archetype progression or you guys need to figure out how to restore my progress when your servers fail.

i Swear man i try to pay attention to it but have a good time and feel like ive been cheated out some hours hopefully not though

Still not fixed updated did daily momment no issue played 1 conquest game and won. no exp, no affinity progression, no card upgrade progression, network connection error. I had some server errors before but I didn't seem to lose my exp or upgrades the more updates the more I lose.

I just had a disconnect 20 minutes ago, up 5-0 in the game. Very disappointed to say the least, they still have a lot to fix unfortunately.

RTTS Archetype progress still not tracking. Is anyone else having this problem?

Yep, it's a loadout swapping issue it seems. I'm now getting progress if I happen to already have the loadout I need active before I start next game, however if I start next game and find I need to switch my loadout I'm not getting any progress on it after I select to swap to it.

Haven't had that issue but a similar issue where one of my perks I have equipped on one archetype will disappear/not let me equip it in another archetype.
For instance if I have a gold archetype with diamond power, contact and fielding perks equipped. If I switch to a silver archetype (which only allows 2 perks) it auto equips power and contact but the diamond fielding perk is missing if I go to switch it out. Not sure if this was fixed yesterday.
I did finally get some archetype progress counted in RTTS. I was a SS both in DD and RTTS which sounds like it may be a requirement for some ppl to count progress (having same position in both) but I can't confirm that. -
Just finished March to October, won the World Series and nothing was earned towards Team Affinity LOL this is lame.

I have had team affinity and plenty of xp not count. I just bought a boss off the market in case I don’t make it. I could have bought something else I wanted.

Just keep ignoring and not responding like it does not exist?In RTTS, my ballplayer is continually assigned as a Catcher in the lineup. Good. If I move over to DD, the dude is no longer an 82, he's a base bronze 65! And in this one, he is a SS and C at secondary.
What is up with this?? Why would SDS make you do all this? You need to call the CIA to figure this mystery out. Sometimes, the ballplayer is an 82 gold, Diamond archetype (Mago), base screen shows a 78 SS, additional detail shows Catcher and SP as secondary, and DD does show SS primary.
Has anyone figured out how to get this thing as a high level Catcher in DD? I am doing this BS RTTS just to get my player bumped higher. Why would then even make it this hard to get the position right??????
I am an adult and a long time vet of this game. I cannot figure this out. SDS pretends there is no issue. Won't even say "We are looking into it". If adults and vets can't figure this out, you think kids will? No, they will probably give up and go play COD. Nice job, SDS!!!
Sounds like user error in ballplayer menu. And i'm not saying that in a mean way, i'm saying it literally sounds like you are missing a step somewhere. My player transfer has been seamless.
I'd really like to help if you would like to list the steps you take?

My game now crashes everytime I try to play Rtts...I already lost my franchise because of an auto save bug. I'm sick of starting over.

Log in.... my RTTS player has an overall of 68 (Woot - up 5 from yesterday somehow)
Go to pre-match screen.... Nope. Same player - same loadout and archetypes - I'm now back to 63.
I was 63 when I started a marathon game session yesterday. Playing each of over 100 games.
I was 63 at the end of it. Despite hitting at over 400 and being darn good in defence..
I'm also still a 2B when I go to Diamond Dynasty. My player is not 2B - not even as a secondary position. Now it says I'm out of position at CF(which is what my player is) because (apparently - according to the games messed up view of what's going on) I'm a 2B

Sam happens to me.
My overall changes and my position changes between the logon preview of my player and the pre match set up of my player.
Suddenly i'm a 2B?
I've never created a 2B with different skills.
Where did the game get that from? -
Deleted my progress
There is either something wrong with my save or something wrong with the game.
(I did have two saves (both with my name - i.e the same name) wondering if the game is getting confused or something?
I'm going to give it one more go. Both saves deleted. If I get no-where today I'm uninstalling.
2 weeks of this BS and I've had enough of this,. Going back to MLB The Show 20.

Ok deleted both saves. Go to set up a ball player.
There is already one there (checked - I have no save games)
He is a second base (why? - I never created a second base player has my look and loadout.
I exit the game using a hard reset. I don't want the game to save this guy. I DO NOT want to play 2B and check Settings > Data > Saves again.
Nope. No saves for this character. No RTTS player saves at all (and RTTS is the only mode I play)
This "phantom" player I've never used has more progress to begin with than either of the players I created?Feels like this "phantom" player is getting the XP and advancement I should be earning. The player I'm using is stuck. This guy starts with 5 more overall points than I ever had. But he is in the wrong position. A position I never created a player at.
Sorry for spamming this thread. Wanted to keep people up with what was going on in some details to give the devs a chance to fix it. Needed to provide details of the problems and post them. Probably wasting my time but worth a go.

So the game was updated/patched, yet the RTTS archetype progression is still not tracking, some absolute [censored]. Why say you fixed something when clearly you didn't lmaooo
