    That’s right folks, intentional run down cheese is back and better than ever! Played a moron in BR who intentionally got himself in two different rundowns and was safe both times. I wasn’t even close to throwing him out.

    Do you have throw canceling on? I have very good success faking a throw and letting the player run right back into the tag. Should help.

    Run him back to the previous base or throw him out sliding into the next base. There is no rundown cheese when it's easy to stop it. Quit throwing back and forth

    Throw cancel. Worst case they just don’t advance.

    Wait runners can still retreat on a stolen base attempt? Wasnt that supposed to end in '19?

    A lot of times, just holding on to the ball and running towards the base runner will get him.
    These players think they are smarter than you and rely on making you react to their idiotic play. Don’t react. Play fundamental baseball and most of the time you’ll beat them.
