They always reward people for playing the game (when we can play it) and they always do a good job at putting out content. Maybe extending the inning program is not the best way to reward people that have had issues but they still need to reward people that are going through issues.
why do we need to be rewarded?
We have had tons of server issues, people losing stubs, people losing cards and ranked seasons record issues. At the very least a 10 pack bundle.
and a ten pack bundle? so you can pull some bronzes, meanwhile the guy that played one day when it released pulls infinite diamonds lol.

They should be giving people more than that.

A company with tons of money gave us a game to play during a pandemic. It's not like all video game companies are doing the exact same thing.

No! At most SDS could throw in an extra player program with large xp bonus to help out, but in no way shouldvextending inning 1 cut into time to grind inning 2 or any future inning.

If they were handing it out for free, there would probably be a lot less of these threads.

With the amount of people who have it maxed out at 650k already, if you cant get to the boss pack by the deadline thats your own fault

Ballin is a Habit are pretty much gold player packs with some extra bronzes. Would not mind it though cause I'm still working on collections.

they don't owe us anything. Yeah it sucks that servers have been bad, but at the same time they gave us a great game this year, hitting and pitching finally work. Be grateful for a new game at all. It'll be fine in the long haul.
If I buy a car and it's not working for the first week+ I sure as hell am not thinking "hey I should be grateful they gave me a new car it'll be fine in the long haul"

You can't finish objectives for the previous inning. SDS has stated once it's gone it's gone. So when 2nd inning drops 1st inning will go away completely.

I should have worded the title differently. The idea I was trying to get across was that extending could be a possibility and I wanted to see how the community would react to it. I'm not saying I want it to be extended.

I don't want it extended. Give a one time massive XP boost or whatever, I don't care. Any extended programs either push back or shorten future programs that have better rewards

As far as the program, I can see giving a lump sum of XP (I’m talking 100k) as compensation for not being able to play. The problem with that is that some people were able to play enough to get to 650k in spite of the servers and glitches, so the xp wouldn’t be a fair makeright for those people. I’m at 560k just by completing collections and playing many games against the CPU. I haven’t even done the 35k player programs or conquest. If double xp and the lost game stats (because of servers) had been working as designed, I would’ve had easily close to another 200k xp. My wife was out of town the first weekend and I played non-stop when servers were up. I’ve got superfractors for 3 different pitchers (takes about 26 cpu games to level one up). If they do have makerights, it would need to be a combination of XP, packs, and/or stubs. Frankly I don’t see them giving out much more than a 10-pack, which I see as unacceptable for the people that were so affected by the problems. I was lucky enough to have time to play it on release. I won’t have that much time going forward. I also lost 170k stubs the first night on selling cards (that were eventually returned via support). Honestly, I would be able to stick out and forgive the server issues if SDS just had better communication about the problems. No matter how you spin this, lack of communication is poor business when things have been so bad the first couple weeks. SDS is kinda like this every year, but with Xbox and so many new players onboard, they need to change their PR policies. Some folks will still be toxic towards the situation but a great number of us would sympathize way better if there was just some communication about problems, progress, and potential solutions. Remaining silent is just never the best thing to do in business when you are trying to maintain and grow. Honesty is the best policy typically even if it’s to say that you don’t know how to fix it yet but you’re trying, be patient with us, and you’ll compensate players in some way when it’s fixed.

You can't finish objectives for the previous inning. SDS has stated once it's gone it's gone. So when 2nd inning drops 1st inning will go away completely.
Ok that does make a difference. I just assumed it was the same as last year

Gift 100,000 XP, and move on with it, people that are done won’t be affected and delayed content, and 100,000XP upfront for the first inning is more than enough for people to finish. If you can’t with that you weren’t ever going too.
