If you're looking to pursue it, this and credit card charge backs are the way to go. Don't bother asking your retailer or the game maker.

They've messed up another release but you guys act like they're a company of 1500 with PR and hundreds of devs watching the servers at all hours waiting to address the community in case anything goes wrong. Some fortune 10 companies with 5000 devs don't have that. SDS is probably up to 20 devs. Don't think they don't care. The smaller the shop the more likely they take all of this to heart and they're probably busy trying to fix it without extra resources that would be directed to go provide an update to the crowds

Well that's probably the truth... Would you rather they spend their time responding to every little kid tagging them and demanding nonsense answers 300 times a day in the forums? Literally less than 1% of the player base use these forums. They're adults working on technology that you nor most people in the world, let alone this forum can comprehend. In the real world, at real adult jobs, people don't blat and blat demanding answers when they have been given a decent response. The servers are getting better daily and people are getting their items and purchases back slowly. Let them do what they get paid to do. If you think you can do better tham I'm sure they're hiring.

They actually have just shy of 100 active employees, including a community manager and several forum administrators who you might specifically expect to be tasked with some light PR and communication with the player base at large and the smaller forum community in times of crisis.

The issues are very frustrating yes but would you prefer they say "we'll have everything fixed in 2 weeks" then in 2 weeks they have to tell us it's delayed? You would bash them for that too so it's kind of a no win situation til they fix things. Also if they are going to do any sort of compensation they would probably want to fix the issues first and also see how bad overall the issues were and how long it lasted in order to figure out the value of the compensation if there was going to be any.

I'm curious on what exactly you want them to say? Do you want them to say we have no idea how long it's going to be? That they don't know? What is it that they could say outside of the servers are fixed is going to be acceptable to you people that are always saying thwy don't post enough?
I've said it before, why would they post in here because when they do, everyone jumps on them with everything from when are the servers being fixed to why isn't some player wearing the right glasses. I don't blame them for not posting in the forums. Like it or not when Ramone (I think it was him) was caught mocking the community a couple of years ago, he wasn't wrong.

Yes, you’re a shill. I work directly with clients and transparency is ALWAYS a better approach than silence.
And if things really are so bad they don’t have a fix, then they need to offer refunds, full stop, no questions asked.

Not to be a [censored] but this is like the guys that call up sports radio saying they played high school football so they know how to fix a team, noone cares unless you work for a game company. I agree anyone that wants a refund should get one but that is something you have to go through playstation for.

If you do want to play in the future and playstation won't do anything then unfortunately as frustrating as it is you're in the same boat as the rest of us hoping the game is cleared up in a month or so.

PS locks out accounts that do chargebacks, legitimate or not.

I've never done anything like that so I didn't really know the consequences. I thought you meant you would be strictly locked out of MLB The Show account. Now I get why doing that is not an option -
