Live - Server Status

I was hoping we could all make a thread here to post live updates on server status.
I'm writing my last exam in... 10 minutes. Is it possible to get through RS games, or should I just fire up Civ for the night?

I can't even stay on the menu screen for more then ten mins. I think at this point it's play at your own risk right now

I don’t think that is as much an issue as all the data thats being moved through the server every game, I love the parallels, but the more I think about it, the more I believe they are causing some of these problems. Having your RTTS character linked to DD and online play isn’t helping either and of course like every other game thats launched with cross play, cross play has probably been an issue. Thats what I think, but I am not in IT.

It is frustrating for sure. I just finished a RS game and don't know if it took or not. Got an Unhandled server exception occurred. I keep getting that same message trying to get back in DD. We shall see. I have been fortunate so far with RS as I sit 7-0 if this game takes. I believe this will get better guys as we know this is a big change this year with cross play and new consoles. I believe this to be the best year yet we just have to get through there spring training (SanDiego Studios). Lets hope we hit the regular season soon. LOL

It's mainly cross play, I'm pretty sure SDS was not expecting to release the game on xbox let alone be a free game on xbox. This is obvious because in the early access servers were great, the problem began with xbox users.

Xbox users could get into the early access as well if I am not mistaken. I have no issue with them releasing the game for xbox, I am just not a fan of cross play in any game, it causes more problems than its worth IMO.

They kinda of had no choice, last I heard SDS had to release the game on xbox because the major league wanted them to, correct me if I'm wrong tho.
On top of that the show has been on playstation so most players know what to expect, cross play was more necessary for the Xbox users rather than ps users since it's basically the first baseball title on Xbox from SDS -

. Maybe they underestimated the demand by xbox users and thought adding cross play would ensure they wouldn’t get stuck with a small player base, I don’t know. I just know that cross play causes a lot of issues, and not just with this game, pretty much every game that has released with cross play has some sort of server issues. -
