It must be nice to just log in and play with a good team and not have to grind and work the market. I'm going to do a combination of spend and grind since I have limited playing time.
I've been super lucky with packs from conquest and the rewards from the first inning packs. Im sitting on 650k stubs with no money spent other than just buying the game. I've probably used up all my luck for this year in mlb.
I have yet to play online tho, just grinding the game out and waiting for the right players for the team.

I haven’t spent any money yet, I’ll wait until they fix the server issues and then ill decide, so far im having more fun (when i can get on) with NMS.

I’ve only spent like $250 ish this year. Last year it was $1,500 ish (I think) to get Mantle. Lol.
I like the team this year. Having a lot of fun grinding.
If only these servers were working right..
And give me back my Mickey Mantle!! Don’t care if he’s a low gold. I earned him and now it’s showing completed with no card.

Same here. A couple of cards like Wagner and Hampton caught my eye, so I ended up buying them but most of this team came from Trout and grinding. Actually am getting Pedro close to the IV parallel, I think he'll be a 92 then.
Parallel has been one of the best additions to the game in a long time.

Holding off on the parallel and just waiting for the right players.
One thing I would want is for the parallels to be linked to a players name rather than a specific card.So for example if I got to parallel 5 for JD martinez gold card then his other cards instead of starting at parallel zero when I get them, they would start at like parallel 2 or 3. I understand why they didn't do this tho, probably would be to overpowered.

As someone who has advocated for them to bring some form of stat grind back for the past couple years I am really happy about the addition of the parallels.

I work the market and grind...i just sit on the stubs in case i need them

I got $300 in but also got some nice diamond pulls.. With those things and working the market I completed the A.L. and now I'm working the market some more to build stubs to do the NL as quick as possible. Its the first year I've put extra money in but I have a family and new baby and all that good stuff so I can only get online so much. I'm sitting on pretty much everything though so I won't need to spend stubs for the big collection if there is one again.

I think it may be Aaron, Jeter or ARod. I think we will see the last two at one point this year.
