Card Reviews - Team Collection Rewards

Trying to bring some positivity to the forum lol. I feel like there’s no good place to get legitimate card reviews so let’s start here.
Here’s some of the team collection rewards cards I’ve used and their reviews:
Angels - 95 Frank Tanana
Reminds me of the Hal Newhouser from last year. Relies on a 100Mph fastball and a sweeping curve to get K’s. At this stage of the game he’s been a beast for me and will be especially good against newer players who can’t lay off the sweeping curve.
Against better users I’m not sure how long he’ll hold up as they can just sit fastball and lay off both curveballs. Either way I think it’s very nice to have a lefty with upper 90’s break and velocity in my rotation.
Yankees - 90 Jorge Posada
Best catcher in the game IMO, love the switch hitting and his swing is great. Poor defense so I have 88 42 Series Salvy Perez on my bench. Haven’t used the Piazza but did not like Mike’s swing last year. Anyone who used Posasa last year and liked him surely will again this year.
I finished the whole AL East, but wouldn’t recommend using any of the other team rewards.
AL EAST - 95 Goose Gossage
Beast so far. Can get up to 101mph on fastball and has a slurve which is one of my favorite pitches. They’re saving outlier for his 99 card in assuming.
Please drop the team or division collection rewards you have and their reviews. I’d love to have some insight as incomplete collections !!

Dee Gordon (Marlins) - Love to have on your team but hate to face him. All he hits is bloopers that fall and then he beats you with his speed.
10/10 would recommend to make your opponents rage quit

That’s good to hear, hopefully it means contact hitters will be a bit more useful this year.
If anyone has 99 Jackie, I’d love a good review on him too. I couldn’t use the one last year, it was just constant fly outs cuz his max power was just warning track distance.....

Puckett starts becoming a beast at parallel 2 and above. Line drives all over the field. Cannon for an arm.

From what I've played against the cpu, contact hitters need to have either high power or minimum power like 30-50 in order for them to be effective.
Any contact hitter I've used that has like 60 power ends up hitting line drives straight to the outfielder anytime you get under the ball with your pci.
What ends up happening with contact hitters with 30-50 power is that there power isn't high enough to reach outfield so they end up dropping for bloop hits which plays out in your favor if you get under the ball a bit. -

Ernie Banks mashes, and his arm at SS is an absolute cannon. Konerko and Musial are both hit machines, great to platoon them if needed. Wood out of the pen is great, as is Eckersly.

I just unlocked Ernie.. So excited!! Always love his cards. This one looks better than his 99 last year.

You'll enjoy him. my timing has been off this morning, but he still blasts the ball every time he makes contact.

NL central will def be the first one I do in the NL. Almost done w AL for Papi. Shortstop is always a position of need, none of the 42 cards stand out to me. Just using Xander now cuz I’m a Sox fan.

Some guy figured out how to fix servers:
Back out to the main menu, go to settings, once you are in settings you're going to need to click on

Yeah this worked for me, I went into my settings, clicked on request refund and then ramone sent me a coach plush doll.When I squeezed the doll it yells “An unhandled server exception occurred!!!!!!!!”

I love Trevor Hoffman. I have him at Parallel 3 and don’t quite see a point where there won’t be room for him in my bullpen.
