An issue just started for me with Pinpoint Pitching in the last couple of hours wherein, whenever I throw I pitch that comprises of a motion in the top right corner (Sinker, Circle-Change, Curve, 12-6, etc.), the motion glitches out and jumps to the center for a split second. This hasn't happened on the left side (Cutter, 1st half of Circle-Change motion, etc.) I've gone into practice mode and tried to troubleshoot. Does anyone have any ideas or dealt with something similar?

You on PS4 or PS5? could be a slight stick drift issue if its an old controller. Pinpoint is very sensitive to analog movement

I'm on PS5. The issue appeared out of nowhere. One game it was fine, the next it was happening on virtually every pitch that crossed the top right corner in the motion.

Interesting. Lag related possibly? Otherwise I'm not sure. I haven't had that problem on PS5(Yet at least). I do Notice if you take your thumb off the stick for even a fraction of a second it does what you are describing though

I don't believe I am though which is what's puzzling. I set it down for a while and gonna see if it was just temporary. If not, I'll probably just go back to Pure Analog.

Taking a break seemed to work for a little bit, but the bug is back and it's making Pinpoint Pitching almost unusable. Circle-Changes can't even be thrown as crossing over the top right corner makes the game think that's my pull down motion towards the bottom circle.

I'm having a similar issue on the Xbox One and Series X. I noticed yesterday that it seems the "prompts" and "timing" on screen weren't matching up with my controller movement. Hard to explain.

I switched to my old XB1 controller and have had no issues. Not sure if it's actually something to do with my XSX controller, or what. I've used my XSX controller on both consoles and received the same results. No problems with the old XB1 controller.

This has just started happening to me too. When I complete the motion up to the top right, the game mechanic seems to want to force my downward motion for the release early.

    Hello,

I Switched from ps4 pro to Xbox series X and im experiencing the same issue, I can't pitch with pinpoint due to lag, PCI moves very laggy, total mess. Hopefully someone can come out with a solution.

The regular 1st party series x controller suck for pinpoint they are actually awful controllers. I bought a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition and had zero analog problems after on my series x. (I play on both systems before someone calls out my psn tag. I stay logged in with my psn tag on this site.

well, anyone interested in writing an asian language or practice witchcraft, they can definitively make do with these stick spell casting of the pinpoint pitching. Seriously, they should improve classical pitching and stop reinventing the wheel imo.

This just happened to me for the first time. Up 2-1 in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and the pitching goes nuts. It's like the motion is playing connect the dots or something.
