It makes sense guys. There is no longer an XP reward path that you progress all year long anymore. XP goes towards the innings programs which reset every month or so. So why give us XP for permanently locking in players if XP resets with every inning program. It really isn’t that big of a deal.

No TA point are reward for completing mission, moments and collections. XP plays no role

If you complete a collection you get TA points which vary based on that collection

The move to remove the xp has some good impacts.

DD has changed and we are a week in, no way we can compare yet if removing the xp path is a good move.

From what I have seen so far its a positive as at least I know come June I'm not work towards the my next rewards being a Bronze and Silver reward pack. The XP path was static what was there was there no changes. Now they can improve the reward as the inning programs move along so allow this game to progress and not inject an overpowered 99 pitcher to early on

It's just not as satisfying completing the collections without xp imo. I get why they made the move with no xp reward path, but the rewards for completing the collections is underwhelming now imo

This was very annoying to me when I noticed it.

No that can’t be justified. I do somewhat understand the xp loss on collections but the stub rewards are an absolute joke and especially later in the year when all the Team collection cards are pretty useless there is zero reason to do collections if you aren’t trying to complete the LS rewards.

While the enduring xp gave something to look forward to, I just think it's refreshing to not be facing the free 99 starters every game. Although, they have addressed the pitcher stamina issue so someone can't just run kluber out there for 3 innings every game.

Totally agree with this, and by the time you got too the gold tier most of the stuff in the xp reward path was useless anyway. Even the 99s weren’t any good by the time you got there.
