Where do you locate and what pitches do you use?

I'm 26-14 in RS thus far, a respectable record. Even more impressive? I'm batting .350 through all those games with an OPS of 1.2...
...and then there's pitching, where I have a 7.55 ERA. Every game is a slugfest. I give up tons of runs and it's such a shame because if I was even a half good pitcher, I'd be an amazing player.
What type of location and combos should I use? Every pitcher I try has a 7+ ERA

Sinkers are getting crushed for some reason because I throw too many as a result of not trusting my offspeed.
Sliders are sometimes effective but for some reason nobody chases them (I’ve also found them easy to pick up) and they usually aren’t a top 2 pitch so the accuracy goes down.
Curves are only good against free swingers.
Like what do I try? I also get no chases even on very slight misses with say a slider, am I tunneling it poorly or do they just not fool people this year?

Try using pinpoint, it helped me so much. But also, all-star is really just for hitting, pitching is basically chance. Once you get to HOf, that’s where it gets better. If you look at good you tubers like Koogs or YFk, they all struggle with pitching in all star too, let’s giving up hrs. It also comes with experience, the more you play, the more you get a feel for your style of play and how you want to approach the at bats.
I hope this helped -
Cutters are meta this year. Pitchers that throw a high 80s cutter with a mid to high 90s fastball are very good. Bauer is an example of one

Cutters are not meta. They were last year. Changeups are the nasty pitch this year. Pitching is about not being predictable.
