Corrupt Roster

First time playing MLB The Show and I am on next gen Xbox. Every time I attempt to play an online game mode I get a message that reads,
"ROSTER UPDATE: Failed to update live roster. The downloaded roster may have been corrupt. Please try again."
I am connected to the internet with an Xbox Live membership. Every time I start the game it acts like it is new too and makes me select my favorite team and gameplay options.

U might have to reinstall the game. Because for some reason its not reading the live roster. Or you can delete your settings then try again. I never saw this message before and i play 9 online games

I am now having the same problem and I tried reinstalling and nothing happened.

Corrupted files on this game is a death sentence. I deleted and MTO file I can't play online anymore due to error. Reset my p5 to no avail. Call Playstation and see if they can help. They couldn't help me and now I'm stuck playing online.
