Battle Royal 12-0 flawless run ruined by luck

Hello, I just went 12-1 on my BR run. I was on a 10-0 run and up 5-1 in the 3rd. However, his rally was started with a horrible bloop hit with the PCI not even close nor the timing.

Does anyone know if the game is set so who ever has home field advantage has a huge increased chance of rallying?

Still happy with my BR run but it was some of the worst hits I have ever seen in the life and homeruns that should have been pop ups.
