Online Stutter. Unplayable

Last I played was 2013, before you guys banned me from the forum for asking a question about why pitchers can pitch with no energy. It was my first and only post and was merely a question. I was ranked 17th in the world for online head to head.
I haven't bought your game since 2013 because of that.
However, we meet again (for free on gamepass). I am on an xbox series X.
Online is a complete joke. The game studders/freezes whenever a ball makes contact with the bat online. This was not like this in 2013. The online was very smooth and maybe the smoothest sports game on the market.
I run ethernet, and a calibrated TV so I know its your game. I could not believe this was happening so I looked around and seen some people saying you changed the netcode in 2016 and its been doing this since?
No wonder you had to come on gamepass. People are ok with this? Am I living in another dimension? Is this even true?
This cant be in 2021 with fiber internet all over and better nic cards and what not. I seen 13,000 leagues created for online. You are telling me everyone just plays the game with the studder?
It cant just be me....has it always been like this? The most important aspect of the game is stuttery? Somebody please enlighten me.

It doesn’t usually stutter lol the servers are jacked up with all the new Xbox players and cross platform play. Let them work out the bugs man.

No lol the servers are a mess right now. It’ll be smooth again once they fix them.

Yeah, I was experiencing this last night. I'm usually a calm gamer but man, those stutters were really screwing me up.

I get them too when I'm the away team, I believe it's similar to the delay when a pitch is coming in to allow the games to "sync" so that no balls in play are lagging for either player. I get the impression that it's much more pronounced due to the server latency going on right now, as I generally don't see it unless I also notice the servers lagging.
If there's any positive to draw from it, at least you can get in position to field it better!

Also could have to do with your opponents connection as well. If you have great Internet speed and your opp doesn’t there could be a lag as well.

I highly doubt its me. I have 100mbps connection and I am an sys admin for a living.
I am on the brand new xbox series X. Corded ethernet and NAT open.

13,000 Leagues online created. People are ok playing like this? On next gen hardware in 2021?

I have 0 issues on PS5, But there's a noticeable slight lag, shakey pci on Xbox series s. Same TV. Same setting.
