Is there a way to add a 4th or 5th pitch?

I am in my second full year of the majors, 3 year total. I have played every game, I am 80 OVR. I still have not been able to add a fourth pitch. At this point I assume its locked behind the gold and diamond archetypes but with the pretty rough launch the missions dont work most of the time.

I don't think it is. Have you been able to train to make you attribute caps bigger? I haven't.
It seems like the whole training aspect is missing things. I haven't seen options to train power, raise caps, or new pitches.
My thinking, is once they fix the training, it will be fixed.
Also, you can purchase new badges in the store. Even if they don't have any available to sell, it's still listed. You can see what the badges do, and none say add pitch.
It also doesn't seem like something you earn through the assignments. They all seem to be stubs, etc.

There is no ability to raise attribute caps. Your capped stats are only part of the equation. The Ballplayers' overall rating in a stat is a combination of your archetype rating and the capped rating in the training modes. Each archetype adds a chunk of points into stats and that change is shown as a number in parenthesis over each stat. You can see the combination of the two in your loadout and in all of the menus where your player's core stats are shown.

You can purchase perks in the store, these are separate from archetypes, my character is has a silver archetype in Cheesy Filth, but two diamond perks. The archetypes are not being sold in the store.

I used to have a 4SFB, 12-6 CB and a CH......now I only have the 4SFB and CH. What happened to my 12-6 CB?!?! Anyone else have this happen?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is probabally once a year thing at start of every season. 5 being the limit that way it gives you whole year to work on pitch attributes through training and gameplay.

I am an 80 overall SP in my third year in the majors. I won the WS, and have won both CY Young and MVP my first two years. I have been stuck at 80 overall for a long time now and cant seem to get any higher. I also cannot add more than three pitches. I have maxed out relationships with almost every player on the roster, and play every start. If anyone has any solutions to either of the two problems above that would be awesome. Update: I got to 81 overall, so that seems to be fine, still no 4th pitch option.

4th or 5th pitch......I had 3 before one of them disappeared and I only have 2!!! I’d love to have 3 lol

This happened to me too. My pitch types menu is also blank for all builds. No clue why or how to fix it. I’m on Xbox.

It’s something they’ll have to patch. The only question is how long that’ll take.

Update 2: I am now a 99, still no fourth pitch, they definitely made an error and somehow forgot to add a fourth pitch for a pitcher in a baseball game, pathetic.
