Linked account on The Show website; lost game progress

'ol Miguel gave me the same message this morning. I replied back and said it didn't work with what I was experiencing. Then, Joseph rides in on his horse and tells me to make sure I entered the PS5 Download Code from the steelbook into the redeem code section and insert the PS4 disc. Granted, this is after we've established that I purchased the game digitally and directly through the PSN STORE!!

Their site and system is all sorts of messed up, when I log into theshow.com with my MLB login it shows ONLY my MLB is connected and "current session" for both Xbox an PSN it shows they are NOT CONNECTED.
If I login with either my XBOX ID or my PSN ID those both show XBOX and PSN connected but MLB is NOT CONNECTED.
It's like a "the chicken and the egg riddle", which comes first?
Same here my friend. Good thing the people here at SDS have taken a second out of their day to say "Hi, we're working on it, and we're sorry". Oh, they haven't?? Thanks a lot!!! Yes, I'm starting to lose it.

Are you holding your controller at the correct angle when you boot the digital (steelbook version of the PS4 version on PS5)?
Meanwhile back at the ranch.....PS4 version works just fine???????????? Please send prayers.

Same darn thing just happened to me!!! Under my Ps4 account everything is erased but everything on my theshow.com account all my stats and stubs are showing, this is crazy!

On theshow.com under inventory it also shows my "open pack history" and all the cards I've collected so far. I don't see why it's not an option to reset or "start me over" and then award the cards I've earned?

Okay, so now I'm piecing this together. I see that when I'm just logged into my "The Show" account online, it shows all my stuff online - it's all there. Then, when I log in with my PSN or XBOX account it shows everything wiped out. So...I just need those to unlink and tie it all in with my The Show account.
I feel like I came to this solution before though, lol!

I've come to the conclusion they are all just reverse trolling us. Reading these threads laughing and seeing how miserable we can get. They know they got our money, what's the incentive to help. Sucks!

I also do not have the option to unlink my account through the in game route and I can't unlink my accounts on theshow.com it goes through the loop everyone is talking about.

I am amazed with how many people tell me, twitch streamers tell me and their followers in comments section, "Oh yeah, this is easy just UNLINK your account and BOOM it's fixed"
It's wild how for all those users it works like a charm but then there are a handful of us that UNLINK just isn't in the cards. How is that possible? How if we're playing the same game on the same consoles do we not all have the same interface?
It's a mystery.

I can’t count how many times I have unlinked my account. At the moment I do not even have access to my original MLB The show account. I get an error logging in. I can only access the forums via my PSN or Xbox Gamertag. And like many of you have noted. These accounts are “connected” to one another. What’s frustrating is that I literally had all my preorder bonuses and then boom all erased.
Tomorrow’s officially one week of this fiasco.

I don’t know why Kotaku, IGN, Polygon, etc. aren’t covering this. Maybe people should start asking some of the streamers in the community to start saying something. Shine some light on it.

Just logged into my The Show account for shits and giggles and saw this:
The dates don’t really match up, since the last time I played on PS5 with my OG account was Monday evening (19Apr21). I wonder if some accounts just never synced after launch on the 16th and there’s no record? I mean look at the dates on this.

I have hours of playtime and tons of items on my main ps5 account but the second I linked xbox to it I lost everything. Nothing shows on my account on the website either. I contacted SDS and they have been zero help. I keep reading to unlink the account but I can’t find how. I did in game on Xbox and on the site it still says connected. And the site doesn’t offer any option to unlink.. I’m so [censored] frustrated right now. Does anyone know the fix?!
