Is it just me or does the hit timing feel way off?! I feel like I have no shot to see and react to the pitch, move my pci and swing on time.

MAN!!!! I'm right there with you! I've been playing baseball games since RBI Baseball in the 80's. I have NEVER had issues hitting till this game on Xbox.
The consensus is Zone hitting is the best (tend to agree, exactly like Ken Griffey Jr Baseball in 1998) but everything I swing at (if it's normal, contact or power) is just off. I've missed balls that I have had PERFECT timing on...
So, I feel you! I really really do. -
I think I figured out that it was the TV I was using. I moved to a smaller TV and the problem got A LOT better. Also does anyone have any tips on how to stop the lag on a bigger tv?

Game mode helps but online video games aren't really built to be played on big TVs these days

Lol what? You can only buy bigger and bigger tvs that would make no sense. Most games are awesome on a big tv from my experience. No issue with this game either on my 65". You just have to have a good one with low input lag. I turn game mode on and have a samsung q80. It works great. Owning a console would be pointless if your statement was true. Why would you not just get a PC to game on a monitor.

The bigger the tv, the more input lag. Thats pretty much just science. I have a 75" samsung tv, a 55" samsung tv, both with game modes. Also have 6-27" BenQ gaming monitors, and I still prefer to play on my 24" monitor.
(yes I know its weird to have so many monitors, but I used to play some games on triples with 180 degree FOV, also I'm a programmer and front end developer monitors just accumulate lol)

I agree, I wish so bad I didn't have to buy playstations for literally 1 game. (The Show) Anything else I will play on my pc. My friend and I game share, and if he buys a game on console, I'll try it and if I like it. I'll buy it for pc before I would ever play competitively.

That's not entirely accurate. It was a few years ago, but my q80 with gamemode has less than 6ms of lag. It's negligible. Technology has improved alot and input lag is almost non-existent on a good big tv. Anything less than 16ms would hardly be noticeable. Granted thats on the newest tvs. Just 2-3 years ago I would have agreed with you since the best you could get was around 20ms.

Really? 6ms? My Samsung 55-in is only 13 milliseconds and it's unplayable compared to my monitor.

https://displaylag.com/display-database/I should have specified but q80t. It has less than 10ms. Rtings shows it at 5-7ms with various 4k gaming mode settings.

Anyways I have had zero issue hitting.

Im using my asus gaming monitor that runs every single other game smooth but this one I have major fram issues while playing. The ball is skipping and stuttering when coming in while hitting and then the meter when pitching is so hard to time cause it is skipping as well. Not sure if this is a monitor issue or a game issue.
