On the main page, the gear icon in the top right corner. Then go to mode specific options and you can turn it off.
I didn't find it there. I found it under the My Profile tab, but when I click on it the screen goes blank for a moment and when it returns the Crossplay option is still on? This is on XBOX One.
I’m using ps5 but on the very main screen where you choose which game mode you want to play, on the ps5 there’s a little gear icon top right and once I click that, it’s the top option for me I believe. Then you cycle the different modes (casual simulation competitive) with the left and right triggers. Idk how the Xbox is set up but should be similar?

On xbox one, there is no option in mode specific settings to turn cross play off, and when I select it from the DD menu it goes to a load screen and never turns off.

It makes no difference at all in my experience. It's most likely completely coincidental.

Yes, I agree with this. I have tried these methods, including turning off all 3 mode-specific options, and servers were still unavailable even after restart. Obviously some players at some points are getting on to the servers, so it could be coincidental with altering settings, which makes it appear like a fix.

Yeah it’s just random. Was able to get on about 5 minutes ago. Browsed around DD a couple minutes and down goes the server again.

It worked for me the first time about a half hour ago, but now I can't connect again. I turned off all the cross play options, rebooted the game and finally got my gold loyalty rewards, but after trying to do some account linking I haven't been able to get online again. I can't completely blame it on my awful connection, since I never had issues in years prior.

Well I know with Xbox players on here now, it just takes the other system out of the equation so if it doesn’t work then the issue must be bigger.

This isn't a real fix. Changing crossplay will not improve anything and if it did, it is anecdotal.

I'll take something anecdotal to get all my stubs, cards, progression and everything else that was wiped away from linking accounts. Now that we know you're real, can you reply to one of the dozen threads with that issue?

I understand that it’s not a fix but when we have issues with no response from sds, we just try to make it work. We all paid good money for this game and can only do soo much with what little we know about it.
