PS4 Players : HDR option in 21 or not?

There was HRD on / off setting last year on ps4. is there one this year?

Yes there is.

At least on PS4 Pro there is.

thanks - wondering if anyone has an old PS4 non-pro if it's still there or not.

Xbox does not have one for Xbox One OG and S (not sure about Xbox One X). All my other games go into HDR when they are capable but this one for some reason.

They already answered this the HDR setting is from the Console settings this year

And yea you’d prob need series X for HDR not sure but I know the reg ps4 doesn’t have it but PS4 pro does and so does PS5

For 20 on my regular PS4 last year, it was HDR capable and I had it turned on and it looked great.

Usually my xbox one S does HDR automatically for all my other games except this one for some reason. I don't think it's the system but maybe the game isn't recognizing the HDR ??? Not sure but wish it would work.

That is because MLB The Show 20 was a PS4 game that added features to support PS4 Pro. MLB The Show 21 was designed with PS5 in mind which plays at 4k60 and the HDR is handled by the player's choice in the system settings or if the player has HDR off the HDMI input the PS5 is plugged in to.
