Xbox One - Sticks & Buttons not working

Everything seems to work in practice mode but when I go into any other mode my sticks & buttons do nothing and I cannot hit or pitch. Anybody else have this issue?

Yes, I have exactly the same behavior and did report a bug on the theshow.gg/bug to explain the issue.
I try reinstalling the game but I'm still having the issue.Hope this will get fixed soon.

Could someone from SDS reply and at least acknowleged there is a major issue for some Xbox one users who can't the game!!!
Kind of useless to get a premium version of the game if we can't play. -
Read elsewhere on the forum this advise and it worked for me and I don't have the issue anymore!
"Unplug all of your USB ports. I always leave the Guitar Hero Live USB connector in the back USB port of my Day One Xbox One. For whatever reason, that caused issued once in the past, and as soon as I unplugged that and restarted The show I didn't have this issue anymore."

For me, the sticks and buttons on Xbox are working but it is super delayed. When I push the button to swing, my player doesn't even swing until after the pitch is in the glove of the catcher. Is that just my internet connection or something? It is the only game I have on Xbox that is super slow/lags. On my Ps4, I have no problems with the buttons and sticks in terms of hitting/swinging and PCI placement. It is really starting to [censored] me off because I cannot play any modes because I cannot even hit the ball -- it lags way too much.

The offline lag and button delay make this game absolutely unplayable for me! This needs to be fixed ASAP!

I play on xbox series x, have not had any problems with lag or anything else in the game, apart from servers going down now and then.

We think that this is an issue with how you are signed in and the number of controllers, can someone try these steps and see if it allows you to progress:
Press the XBox button on your controller, go over to Profile & System, down to Add or switch, and select the Profile you want to use -

I unplugged my guitar hero usb connector and now it works finally!!!! Couldn't find an answer until now. Thank you so much!
