I cannot see if I can continue my franchise from The Show 20 into The Show 21. I was able to do this going from 19 into 20?

Yeah, it's not here. Unless there's a way to do it from the cloud, but I haven't figured it out. I'm on the PS4 version and it's not here. Which is kind of a bummer.
It also confuses me since this wasn't an issue from the PS3 to the PS4 in 2014 but whatever.

They announced a while ago Y2Y saves wouldn’t happen this year due to a requirement for feature similarity with cross-compatibility to Xbox. They didn’t want you to use a RTTS player to keep earning things on 21 that would help them quicker in DD, in other words.

Source for feature parity as the reason?

Apparently it’s in the agreement with Microsoft and MLB. That’s the consensus of other statements/tweets I’ve seen by people who seem considerably solid sources, but they could be wrong. But it’s a pretty wide known cited reason apparently

Yeah I don’t know if I’d go for that as the sole or even a legit reason. The other reason floating around is expanding to Xbox and compatibility which is a non-issue.

There are quite a few technical reasons it could have been done, such as two-way player integration messing up player data considerably, and the fact that carryovers from 14 are still going. So many holes in the save file data that have to be either filled with made up data or left empty, which would impact upon other aspects of the game. These are my top two.

    Just my opinions of course.
