Which 42 Legend is the best?

I currently have Pedro Martinez, Ken Griffey Jr, Mariano Rivera, Bob Gibson, and Hank Aaron. I only bought Aaron since he was the cheapest last night and I anticipate the prices for 42 series cards to go up over the next week or so as demand will exceed supply for the foreseeable future. He won't be on my team for long.
In my opinion, I wouldn't pick up Frank Thomas just because there are always a surplus of great hitting first basemen with poor defense, and like you said you could put Babe there once you get a better defensive outfield. I tend to prioritize pitching early on since a great starter like Pedro will be somewhere in your top 5 for longer than other positions, but that's just me. Ken Griffey Jr. would be my top choice for a hitter.

Frank Thomas is a small disappointment for me, he's hitting good, but not far, I expected more power from him. Griffey is great

I took Ruth and Aaron then bought Rivera (they were cheap on the first night of early access). Started the year with an all diamond outfield and a solid closer.

Too babe. Only because i takes with him in 20. Just bought Griffey last night. Going for Pedro next

i would get babe and Robinson right now Ruth is batting above 300 with 2hr and Robinson is batting over 400 I wouldn't recommend he makes amazing contact and has a great PCI he's just not putting the ball where i need it in certain situations

Hank Aaron's price has tanked hard if anyone wanted to try him out. Down to 21,650 at the moment, which is 5-10 K less than the rest of the 42 series.

Anytime a question like this comes up, I always just recommend picking a dude and trying him out. If you don’t like who you pick after a few days you can just sell it and get a different card, often for a small profit if you do it right. Or only lose a few stubs, but part of the fun is trying new cards.

I'm just doing offline right now, but I have all but Frank, Bob, Jackie or Cal.
Griffey has been obliterating everything so far. My best card from the 42.

Grif and Ruth by far. I just picked up Gibson and usually his cards are solid... I can see Pedro getting lit up in RS sooner rather than later.
