Exactly what I was thinking... I am a little uninterested in what has been provided mostly this year
I am NMS and I have all the 42 Legends, deGrom, Bellinger, and Arenado. I haven't pulled any diamonds from Show packs either.

As of now. My statement is true. I don't see them giving out more packs until the 2nd inning. Anyone just getting the game tonight does not have the packs. No more supply is added until SDS puts the packs elsewhere
The packs come from buying the Jackie Robinson editions. People can still buy those editions. There will be a flood of them on the market this week. Prices will go down initially and rise again as the new people pivot to collect them.

It’s literally designed this way for a reason. It’s a trap to get dummies to pay for content they don’t need to finish the program.
SDS isn’t stupid. They could have very easily put out the Eric Davis program with whatever XP amount and the first inning showdown with whatever XP in early access, instead they have people thinking they need to collect 200k worth of players to complete the first inning when soon, the game will actually be released along with more missions. Then the next week the same and the next week.

Last years version of the preorder packs went down to 5k and they were also expensive when first dropped (15/20k i believe) and i expect the same to happen to these.
I dont think there going to be as cheap and frequently in packs as last year because they are also tied to a 99 overall collection this year. Much like people thought HRDs would drop last year SDS had a plan for them to stay higher with the Trout Program. Jackie should keep these things quite high for quite a while. Maybe one per program, which would make sense because I think they’ll have a show classics and other new things every program as well.

No, no you can't. The 42s that are being talked about, are the pre-order ones. None of them are in the TAs.

No, no you can't. The 42s that are being talked about, are the pre-order ones. None of them are in the TAs.
Well then as I was. Still isn't really different then 1st inning from any other year.

I’m sure they will add more 42 cards. In one of the pre-launch streams, they showed a Roberto Clemente 42 Series card which isn’t currently in the game. Give it time.
