They ruined hitting last year because of the YT personalities. Hitting is the best it’s been in years.

Not that it will have any impact on their bottomline but I will never buy another mlb game if they patch hitting this early and maybe at all lol

I did get a no doubter with Babe Ruth where the pci wasn’t even touching the ball. That was the only one and I have probably 20 hours played vs cpu

These last few days are the first time in years that I've been to this board and seen almost no complaints about the actual gameplay. There seem to be a few server glitches here and there that need to be addressed, and hopefully they're working to unravel the total mess that they made of the new create a player system, but for the most part everything seems to be reasonably positive around here. Hopefully the devs have noticed.

I honestly have felt extremely rewarded for my swings. Are there lineouts occasionally in huge spots? Of course, but that's expected, its going to happen

Agreed! Stubs, lost progress, XP, and server issues are really thr only complaints. They are not nothing but at least it's not gameplay related for once lol

Hitting is way too easy online even on higher difficulty. Can’t wait for them to patch so the best of the best can make World Series and not everybody and their mothers

Only time I've seen a homer outside of the PCI is when it was inside and pulled with a power hitter. Other than that, it's been flyballs or groundouts for me.

Hitting is so great this year. I can finally hit on the later side off good. The exit velocities are higher this year. I crushed with Pete Alonso and the exit velocity was 110 mph. I cannot remember seeing such numbers last year.

Money isn’t the only way to be good. Just have to practice on higher difficulties to the pitchers that fool you the most. Learn how to take pitches, work the count, read a pitch then yank one out.

I think the only thing I have to say about hitting is that I wish it was slightly more forgiving as far as timing is concerned on rookie difficulty especially since there are likely a lot of first time players this year. I just hope we don't get what happened in 18 when hitting was amazing and then they nerfed everything to be lazy flyouts and soft grounders.

The only problem I’m having is against CPU hitting today. 8 home runs to the orioles on rookie when I usually don’t give up any.
But I’d rather them focus on making their servers bigger because the constant lag and server disconnects are annoying and this is just so far. It goes on game pass tonight, so they better make them HUGE

Yeah if you are early and have the right launch angle then the pci may not match up
