Play VS Friends crossplay won’t work

(Both players have crossplay turned on)

I can accept the game but there is no audio

Same can't play against my friends just says waiting on opponent

All my friends have this on the Xbox and can seem me in there friends list, but they don't show up for me. Every time they send me a challenge I get nothing. I was able to play against them yesterday, but no dice today

Ended up having to resend friends request out in game to get it to work again. Though there is a noticable connection issue when playing cross-lay
