There is something not right with the hitting
Like the half swing thing and just seems like the timing is off or something.
Does anyone else see it ? -

Please give it more time. We don't want them to start tweaking on a small sample size like they did last year.

Online or offline? Wifi or hard wired? I haven’t had those same issues. Seems pretty consistent and I’ve played close to 15 event games. I did get disconnected twice though. I think my modem needs to be updated though.

I’m struggling so far, but I think it feels good. I like hitting this year.

I think hitting feels great personally. I'm on PS5 with a monitor though. I think it might be helpful for all these posts if users put what console they were on in the title. I don't want SDS touching hitting on PS5 because it's hard to hit on an 8 year old console

It’s on a ps4 on a tv verses the computer on conquest rookie veteran all star it’s just plan and simple not easy to hit on this game I’m lucky to even score a run like I’m late or early on pitches the fastball seems to be the hardest to hit and even good timing it’s a weak fly ball or just seems to be no power I think they focused more on the new gen game and didn’t care about the old gen

im not a great player. Im 14-9 but i do like the hitting a lot.
I think the only issue is that players with "bad" stats like for example Javy Baez vs righties - I can perfect perfect a pitch and get the right launch angle and it seems like it will just NOT leave the park.

Hitting so far feels smooth to me.

Not trying to be a [censored], but if you can't score against the cpu on rookie conquest it is not the game it is you. Hitting has felt great both online and vs CPU for me. Just keep practicing the game just came out. Also, with a TV make sure it is in game mode or you will have tons of input lag and delayed response time.

Okay I was playing with the settings and I changed turned off the guess pitch deal and it’s a complete difference for hitting I believe that was effecting the timing

I am on a PS4 and a regular TV I am not having issues. I am not a good hitter but the hitting is better than last year for sure.

Yeah that was definitely your problem. If you use guess pitch and guess wrong it's a guaranteed out almost
