Why when playing any ranked games, especially ranked season after both users select there starting pitchers, simply show this info to the opponent. Allow users to set line ups according to the pitcher they're facing. This seems to be a more realistic experience

No. In 16 they had this so players would run all lefty lineups and backout if a lefty was on the mound. It would be the same now.

They would get a loss... To me it just seems more realistic, managers know this info when they are setting there line up.

The difference is in real life you have a limited amount of players where as in DD you can make full god squad lefty lineups and full god squad righty lineups. We would be constantly facing lineups with hitters opposite of our pitcher. Personally, I think it's fine how it is.

On second thought... Why not just allow users to pre set LHP/RHP line ups instead on one line up. Then could completely do away with setting the line up pregame. Eliminates the all one handed lineups during pregame, and back out situation. Seems like a win/win

I was cool with it in 16. I would throw a righty but have a bullpen full of lefties. Back then there was no bullpen stamina issues either easy win for me! Showed them right for trying to play the system like that!
