I’m a man of simple tastes. The smallest things bring me the biggest happiness. For example, hearing the laughter of a small child, as he mercilessly bullies an even smaller child. Unrestrained decadence that is flaunted in the face of the needy. Having enough money to have my enemies killed, then reanimated and programmed to become my servants. These are the little things that make life worth living.

And now I am about to add MLB:TS21 to that list. I didn’t think I would be able to play during the first couple months of this game’s cycle, but here we are. 4.816 GB / 8.842 GB has been downloaded.

I’m not impressed with any of the 3 big LS collection rewards this year, so finishing the LS isn’t even on my to-do list. But I’m looking forward to working through TA for the rest of the afternoon. Which cards are worth the effort? I would like to get Frank, Hank, Griffey, Babe, and Ketel Marte from the 42 collection. Is that possible to do in one day, or would that take a huge amount or grinding?

    Baseball is pretty cool.

Out of those five players, right now, the only one available by 'grinding' is Marte.

The other 4 you have to either buy off the market or get them in pre-order packs.

Well that really chuffs my duff.

I’m playing this practice game while it installs and it seems like it’s taking forever. Did it take a buttocksload of time for everyone else’s game to install??

Is anybody actually using pinpoint patching??? The last time something was this hard, I had just watched a montage of Anne Hathaway in Love and Other Drugs.

I would like to get Frank, Hank, Griffey, Babe, and Ketel Marte from the 42 collection.

I grabbed Frank and Griffey from my pre-order bonuses, and I LOVE them. I know you're a "Frank" guy - get him immediately.

TA is different this year. Check out the videos on YT as to the best way to progress. From what I can tell, TA Showdowns are the way to go. They're much easier than last year.

Thanks! I took Frank and Hank with my pre-order packs. I also pulled Freddie Freeman and Francisco Lindor in those packs, so I'm probably going to sell them and buy a couple other 42 and finish off the White Sox and D-backs collections.

The servers were terrible last night so I didn't get to play, but I'll try the Showdowns tonight. And March to October actually sounds kinda fun for some reason.
