Xbox buttons aren’t working

So basically I got the digital deluxe version for Xbox and everything goes well until I get into any game whether online or offline and then whatever but I press except for the home button will not respond and I will be forced to restart my game. I have restarted my Xbox, restarted my game, power cycled my Xbox, and also reinstalled the game. Does anyone know anything that could help?

We think that this is an issue with how you are signed in and the number of controllers, can someone try these steps and see if it allows you to progress:
Press the XBox button on your controller, go over to Profile & System, down to Add or switch, and select the Profile you want to use

It makes no difference. My profile is the only one on my Xbox. My controller is always signed in to it. I routinely can't do anything in the game except press the home button when at the main menu of the game. Nothing else works. It starts a demo game eventually which I can press start to exit out of, but then it takes me right back to the main menu. Game says it can't connect to the servers. Game recognizes no button presses aside from the home/guide button. Once the XB guide opens all buttons on the controller are perfectly fine. It's a game issue. IT's been preventing me from playing regularly since the early access began. Waste of money on my end I guess.

Give it time bro, they know about it now so they’ll be looking into it ....
